    Large secluded property in Grand Beach New Buffalo featuring a recent fully renovated Main House (3bdr) and Guesthouse (1 king bedroom + queen sleeper sofa). Both units have completely rehabbed interior featuring high-end designer finishes. Main house sleeps 9 comfortably while Guesthouse sleeps 4.

    Take the golf cart (comes with the property) to the park or beach for a day in the sun, before coming back for an evening hot tub dip or campfire!

This property quickly became one of our favorites. Both units were very clean, modern, and decorated beautifully. We loved the location and thoughtfulness behind all amenities. We will definitely be returning.

Wonderful getaway!

Everything from the location, decor, cleanliness, and communication with the property owner was perfect for a short getaway with the family! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, the beds & couches were super comfortable, and we all enjoyed hanging out in the beautiful back yard and hot tub. 10/10 recommend!

New Buffalo Retreat

A great family get away. The cottage & guesthouse were a perfect fit for our family of 6. The amenities were great with separation for quiet times along with a golf cart, bikes, one tandem bike, hot tub, fire place and very comfortable accommodations. You will be sure to relax & enjoy you time.

Place of comfort

Our family spent our spring break at this property and we had the best time. Every part of this place is well thought out and made for gathering. The kitchen is perfect. The couches and beds are a dream. Great proximity to everything. We visited the Great Escape Spa and the Shady Lane winery and also highly recommend them both. We would love to stay here again.

Gorgeous house and bonus house in a perfect location!

The main house and guest house are just decorated gorgeously. High end and so comfortable! Relaxing wooded lot a short walk from the beach and short drive to all the fun restaurants, shops, breweries in new Buffalo and surrounding. We wished it was a little warmer during our stay but we’re thankful for the fireplace, outdoor fire pit and hot tub. Tons of seating indoors and out. Will definitely stay again!

Perfect Michiana House

Top notch house, top notch location! Positioned perfectly between Michigan City and New Buffalo! The house and property fit three families easily. The house is beautifully decorated and has great amenities, bikes, golf cart, fire pit, fireplace, etc.. We give it 5 stars and would definitely rent the house again!

Fam friend get away

Cool house for a long weekend away from Chicago. The properties literally right next to the IN border which made keeping time a little harder. The property was great for a get away with a big group. There are bikes, a golf cart and lots of other things that make getting to the beach easy.

Great 2 day Getaway

The house was beautiful and was as described. Only complaint was that the jacuzzi was dirty. The property manager was very responsive and had someone out within the hour to drain and clean it. Overall great experience. We will return.

Over all stay was great.. we did have an issu of one of the doors not locking at night. I 2as over all clean, some spring cleaning could be done..ceiling fans etc. Communication could be better.. had to ask for check in info a few times before a replying.. bonus there wasnt a huge clean up list, after paying a cleaning fee!!

First, the good: very well stocked kitchen, the decor is beautiful & the location was great. We loved the screened in porch & swing. The host was also quick to respond to questions. Now the not so good: the house was great for the weekend but it should be noted that it has definitely begun to show wear since the photos in the listing were taken. The golf cart had a flat tire upon arrival and the only air compressor had a cigarette lighter adapter. The outside in general was in need of some TLC, bugs & cobwebs covered everything (doors, grill, swingset, etc) and the flooring is showing major signs of wear and tear, which is understandable but does make it feel a little unclean. The house was generally clean but we did notice our feet were black on the bottom from the floors & several light bulbs were burnt out. There was no bedding provided for the trundle bed and towels were very limited. Unfortunately several of the check in instructions were outdated (no propane tank needed for grill, the beach info provided was incorrect and resulted in us being unable to park as anticipated) which caused unnecessary confusion. We never received check out instructions but were also not charged for anything not done so that was okay! Overall it was still a great stay but the property may need a freshen up and updated instructions.

Yucky Hot Tub

It was disgusting. The hot tub looked as if it had not been cleaned in months. We contacted the property manager to inquire about getting it cleaned. The next day, they responded and had someone there to clean it. Whoever did the cleaning did a terrible job. We got in and things started floating around that looked like algae. We got out and did not get back in. Very disappointing as the hot tub was our main attraction to this home.

Proceed with caution if you are considering booking this property. My husband rented this property for the weekend to celebrate my 60th birthday with our adult children. The plan was to have a special dinner on Saturday evening at the house. On Saturday morning, sewage started backing up in the shower. We had to use the beach towels we brought from home to slow the seepage from spreading outside of the bathroom. Needless to say, our towels went directly in the trash. While the plumbing was fixed a little after 6PM, the house smelled like sewage and the floor needed to be sanitized. We could not have our celebration and needed to travel back home rather than stay until Sunday as planned. Our family had treated the facilities respectfully and the plumber told us the problem had probably started weeks prior to our visit. The owner blamed our family for causing the plumbing issue. We are 100% confident we did not cause the problem. The owner refunded none of our fees and thought we should be grateful he didn’t charge us for the plumbing bill. We have stayed in several other VRBOs over the years and have been treated graciously by the owners. I recommend you rent from one of those gracious owners rather than the owner of this property.
