« Very secluded one room cabin with sink and toilet. Lighting on solar electric. Propane BBQ and camp stove. Overall quite clean. Time will meet you at the main road and guide you in. SUPER good guy, informative and friendly. Maximum solitude. While many have experience coyotes, owls and their things we did hear woodpeckers and several song birds but otherwise very quiet. We just spent one overnight so not a great deal of time to refer to. »

« wow, this cottage was perfect! So cute, clean, furnished with everything you need... like everything... firewood, paddles boards, clean towels, clean sheets and pillows.. chairs for outside. BBQ and accesories. TV ..netflix and good WIFi. The VIEW is just perfect...its peaceful, calm...unless you bring the kids ahahah.... You can fish..the lake is clean and easy access for kids. « We had an amazing stay! The cabin was very clean and everything worked as it should. Everything was well stocked. We had a designated parking area, and the area and cabin were safe. We had a great stay at this cozy little place and got to enjoy the outdoors and make a little fire at night. « Jack Pine Jr is a charming property, but we found the listing misleading. The bathroom is separate from the main cabin and, while fairly clean, is propane-based (so it functions—and smells—more like an outhouse, as waste remains in the toilet for the duration of the stay). Meanwhile, the “shower” is a camping shower (i.e. a non-heated water bladder, located outdoors). The images of the cabin and listed amenities do not make this clear (one of the outhouse/bathroom photos is even labelled sauna!)...
