The property sits in the woods along a gravel road. You will be surrounded by trees, wildlife, and fresh air. While there are other vacation rentals on the property, each unit is intentionally separated with their own parking areas, entry doors on opposite sides of the buildings and other touches to preserve privacy.

The Space
This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom walkout apartment with a warm, lodge-style interior. Natural wood ceilings, solid finishes, and a cozy fireplace make it feel like a classic stylish, Black Hills cabin.

Inside
The open living area is comfortable and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking or sightseeing. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals, and the dining area makes it easy to gather everyone together. Bedrooms are thoughtfully set up for a good night’s sleep, and the bathroom is clean and functional.

Outside
Enjoy time outdoors from two covered patios, whether you are sipping coffee in the morning or unwinding in the evening. The hot tub is perfect year-round, especially after a day exploring the Black Hills.

This is a lower-level walkout apartment. While it is part of a larger building, there is no shared internal access to the upstairs unit. You have a completely private entrance accessed by walking around to the side/front of the lower level.

Parking & Driveway: The property is accessed via a gravel road and shares a driveway with two other vacation rentals on the same large lot. However, you have dedicated parking and driveway near your unit’s entrance.

Location: Located in the woods of Nemo, you are centrally located for excursions to Deadwood, Sturgis, and Rapid City. Expect to see local wildlife right in the yard!

We’re available daily from 7 am to 10 pm by call, text, or message, whatever’s easiest for you! After 10 pm, we switch to emergency-only mode, and phone calls are the best way to reach us. Just a heads-up: I’m a deep sleeper, so if it’s urgent, you might need to call twice to wake me up! 😴📞

*Cell service is spotty on the way to the property. AT&T and Verizon work at the house and we have Starlink internet for guest use.
House Rules

As a Superhost, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful memories in our cozy home while leaving it nice and clean for the next guests.

IMPORTANT: No Smoking of any kind is allowed on the property, as secondhand smoke can cause an asthma attack for the owner. Should this rule be violated, we will need the unit cleaned by a professional smoke restoration company, and the guest will be liable for the 2,500 dollar charge.

General Damages
Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so it can be rectified. All damages or missing items occurring during your stay will need to be paid for by you before departure. Cleaners check for damage and any missing items after each stay. Any damages or missing items can and will be billed to the guest.

Fire Prevention and Safety
Please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving for the day. This includes space heaters, air conditioners, fans, hair curlers/straighteners and
portable device chargers.

Other
The space you are booking is for 4 people. More than four people is allowed in the home ONLY IF okayed before check-in. No one is allowed in the home not already specified before starting stay.

We may leave consumables such as coffee and small snacks for you to enjoy. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. However, ultimately, it is up to the guests` discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.

If guests are found to have had a party without host permission, which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges, and in the unfortunate event of disruptions, alerting
Neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community, not a hotel, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave.
