'We had a very great stay at this house. We normally stay in Au Train and decided to venture a little further west this year. The house itself was very clean and had a nice comfortable large couch and kitchen island for hanging out. There was not immediate beach access, but we used the canoe provided and our own paddle board to traverse the river and head to lake Superior. 'We needed an overnight stopping place , on our way further north. This house met our needs perfectly and we continued on our way, well rested, fed, showered and happy! Thank you to the host for preparing an oasis for our travels. Highly recommend!'

'This was a great find for our short trip to the Marquette area. A perfect launching spot for Presque Isle fun like Black Rocks cliff jumping and sunsets all the way over to kayaking at Pictured Rocks. Spacious, clean, with all the amenities of home. Hot tub, lots of games, cool fire pit with smores included, and great coffee bar. Amy was super responsive with our questions. Would definitely recommend North Star!'
