« The cabin had all the wow factors you could ask for. Peace and quiet, beautiful log cabin, great firepit area, critters up close you got to watch, ships to watch go by within a real short distance and owner's who made us feel like friends. So good a stay our son and grandkids asked if we could do it again every year! Thanks for making our vacation wonderful! »

« The cottage is clean and has everything you need for a great getaway. The kitchen cabinets are labeled and have plenty of dishes, silverware and cooking equipment.We loved taking in the view each morning and evening on the screened in cottage. While sitting on the dock, we watched a majestic eagle soaring. The beds are comfortable and the ceiling fans are quiet. We loved staying at Maple Point Hideaway. »

« Stayed with 3 of my siblings and it was wonderful! Kitchen was well equipped and we used the grill for dinner on the deck. Very peaceful! We actually met Vanessa and her daughters when we arrived. Very nice family! We will definitely book again! »

« Property was a ways from town and had to take a ferry to get there, but my fault for not reading description carefully. Cabin was exceptionally clean and very well stocked towels, bedding, cooking accessories. Owner responded in a timely manner. »

« My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back! »
