'Just a wonderful stay all around. Great location to then visit much of the NC Western Mountains. We did day excursions to Linville Falls, Boone, Banner Elk, Linville, Grandfather Mountain, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Very inviting home with a lovely patio area. Wonderful breakfast each day with much more than we could eat. And extremely tasty to say the least. Great weekend.'

'The property was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The only recommendation that I have is that it needs more cleaning products. For example, there was no soap for the bathroom sinks, only 1 packet for dishwasher detergent (hardly sufficient for a 3-night stay), and a very small bottle of dish detergent. '

'My son and I came down for a long weekend to play golf. The condo was perfect for what needed. The location is excellent. We were able use the amenities at the Rambling Bald resort and catch a few fish in the lake on the resort. '

'The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly! The property itself was gorgeous and I only wish we could have stayed longer. My favorite part was waking up with an incredible view and how clean everything was. We were pleasantly surprised to see the property is enclosed with a gate and fences for our dog to roam. I can’t say enough good things about this place! The only drawbacks were the uphill gravel road that made it difficult to drive up and the lack of hot water which the hosts were very...

'We had a great stay at Rumbling Bald. The property was well maintained and the surrounding area was pleasant. The staff was friendly and accessible. The property owner was quick to reapond to requests '
