Nestled next to the Linville Gorge, only minutes from Scenic Lake James with nearby views & hiking at Short Off Mountain, Table Rock & Hawksbill Mountain as well as Wiseman’s View and Linville Falls...your natural surroundings, adventures relaxation opportunities abound.

The cabin is yours in its entirety for the duration of your vacation. Your own home away from home. Tastefully furnished and decorated for your comfort in a desirable prime private spot!

The cabin is located directly on Paddy’s Creek, a mountain stream coming right out of Pisgah Nat’l Forest which borders the North side of the cabin location also giving you direct hiking access. There is a wonderful “swimming hole” a short walk downstream from the cabin as well. Relax on your large back porch with built in seating, or outdoor furniture, doze in the hammock all the while listening to the rushing stream and nature sounds or gazing up at the moon and breathtaking stars. Or enjoy your morning coffee on the large covered front deck listening to the birds singing and the sun warming your soul.

The cabin boasts pine hardwood flooring throughout and porcelain tile in the kitchen and bathroom. Stainless and Black accessories in the full kitchen. Quaint open 2 person bar looking into the large living room with sofas and comfy chairs where you have a TV with Roku (no tv channels or dish). The living room shares open space into the dining area with large table and chairs flowing down the back hallway with French doors opening onto the back deck.

The private Queen bedroom is located off the hallway and has a comfortable pilllowtop mattress, dresser, side tables, closet and small computer desk/table.

The private Master bedroom, at the end of the hallway, features a massive mahogany & leather King sleigh bed with comfortable 10” Bamboo memory foam mattress. It has dressers on either side and also has a wall mounted smart tv for your entertainment pleasure. This room also has a computer table/desk and chairs to sit in.

Strong free WiFi throughout cabin but cell signal can be sketchy, which allows for productive play or work yet being somewhat unplugged at the same time.

The entire cabin location is yours during your stay.

We live on the property and are available for your needs but otherwise leave you to enjoy your space.

The driveway down to the cabin is shared and there is a private residence cabin of ours further up the creek from you so you may see another person from time to time around the property but their cabin is not visible from your cabin.

Pet/Dog Friendly: All males must be neutered. We do request that you keep your pets off the furniture and your pet must be crated if left alone in the cabin.

The driveway is gravel and fairly long with a steep portion, that is about an 18-20% grade. You need an AWD or 4WD vehicle.

Front wheel cars tend to spin gravel tearing up the driveway and sometimes not making it back up the hill
Please be mindful of my electric bill and turn most lights off if you leave the cabin. Also please don’t run AC or Heat of you have windows or doors open. The washer/dryer is yours to use but please don’t use it excessively.
