'Lovely stay. Beautifully appointed hotel with lots of tasteful communal areas and sitting rooms to relax and enjoy a Cotswolds gin and tonic. Knowledgeable bar and restaurant staff who were helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Great grounds for a stroll even in freezing February.'

'Excellent restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. We both had the venison which was delicious. Plenty of choice for breakfast including Eggs Royale. Helpful friendly staff. Parking free and easy. Quiet at night despite being between 2 main roads! Nice 30mins walk into Stow. Only downside was the room was quite small for the price.'

'Such a nice and cosy little hotel. It's like an Inn, which is as said the oldest in the UK. You really breathe the middle ages, so awesome. Breakfast and dinner are super. Most friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit small, but that's just fine because that fits such an historic place. Together with the beautiful surroundings of the Cotswolds, highly recommended. '

'The room was generally clean, but the en-suite had quite a bit of mould across the ceiling and the shower felt cramped, despite the large cubicle, due to the shower itself being squashed into the corner of the cubicle.The furniture is somewhat 'distressed' , but the bed was very comfortable and the duvet was great. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast on our first morning was very good, however, on the second morning the fried egg yolks were hard, but the whites were runny...

'Helaas bij aankomst geen schone kamer. Personeel is vriendelijk en wil op verzoek je vragen beantwoorden en oplossen. Vuile handdoeken die op de grond lagen, hingen later weer aan het handdoekenrek. Lijkt niet helemaal lekker te lopen. Ontbijt is goed, avondeten is echt veel te duur in verhouding van wat je krijgt. '

'Luxurious room! We splurged for the nicer room and wow! Wonderful staff, good beer selection. We needed to leave early the next morning so the chef packed us a picnic breakfast with lots of fruit, a blt sandwich, crackers and jams and cookies. Ate it on a hill overlooking a field of sheep and the town below. So memorable!'

'Spotlessly clean, super location and the parking space was a godsend with how busy Broadway is during New Year. Having stayed in the village for the past 15 years this was one of the best properties that I have stayed in. '
