'Our family of five loved this house! It's central looking out over Hawke's Bay and a short walk to Napier centre. Compact but good-sized bedrooms/living space and plenty of free parking. Nicely done up, while also keeping the area's Deco character. Highly recommended, will stay again.'

'We were a group of Rotarians down for 3 days helping with the Post Cyclone Gabrielle cleanup project. The property was outstanding, roomy and very well equipped. It certainly suited our group. My partner and I would be very happy to stay in it again. Having said that there were some few issues for the Property Manager to note. The most important being the gas for the hot water ran out after one shower early on the first morning, Friday. A real concern given we would all (5 adults) be wanting...

'We barely arrived when my teen was exclaiming, "this is the best holiday home we've ever been to". And it is. A lovely home with all the usual amenities, plus a porch and giant backyard. The kids absolutely loved running free. And the ocean is just across the road. We had a great week and really enjoyed exploring the area.'

'We loved our stay at Kuku Cottage. We were super impressed with the well equipped kitchen, we loved walking to the beach and the cafes. It was the perfect spot for our foxie and a base to explore the Hawkes Bay. The beds were super comfy and we loved the cosy fire.'

'We loved staying at Pohutukawa cottage. The garden was lovely for an Easter egg hunt, and the kids loved being able to run around. Also loved the stack of firewood as the weather was fairly cold the first couple of evenings. Highly recommended for families - can walk to the ocean and the cycle trails go past the front door (plus you can rent bikes from round the corner if the ones if the shed arae not to your style). All round great stay.'
