I had a great stay, the town was fantastic for my short break but if I'd had longer i'd have loved to explore the area more thoroughly.
The hotel was perfectly placed for me, in a quiet area but only a couple of minutes walk to either the centre or the lakeside. The pool was inviting, the room clean and fairly spacious and the staff so friendly and helpful. I was lucky enough to get a room with a balcony facing the lake, the perfect place to soak up the sun before heading out for an evening meal.
The town itself is a lovely mix of traditional Italian style with a young active culture. Live music was scattered around the town each of the (three) evenings I was there. There's so much to do if you like outdoor activities, with walking, windsurfing and cycling being very popular. It's a fairly compact place but the walk to Riva is so beautiful, if you fancy a change of scene I'd recommend a walk along the beautiful coastal path (taking time to swim in the sea and enjoy a cocktail or two along the way).
