'This was the most unique place we have ever stayed at and would recommend the apartment styles room to anyone. Our apartment was ina separate facility right down the road in a 1,000 year old church! We had a bathroom, kitchen, dining room, sitting area, and a bathroom. It was very clean and so quaint! We ate breakfast 2 mornings at the main house, which was delicious. 'Beautiful structure in typical local style. Very friendly staff and always ready to answer your questions with a smile. The food at the restaurant is good but not at the highest level you can experience in the area. We enjoyed the location a lot being very close to Pienza and Montelpulciano. Unfortunately the rooms are quite close to the main road and it can get noisy early in the morning. The view on Pienza is simply marvellous as well as the country road to Monticchiello.'

"Great hotelbuilding, on a top location! BUT: food & drinks in the hotel are very overpriced (for exemple: 12 EUR for a Coca Cola - 32 EUR for a Spritz - 265 EUR for +/- 1,2 kg of BBQ-meat (that was also cold!) and so on… You also have to know that the pool-watertemperature is about 36 degrees … hot… For the rest: great experience!"
