After spending 11 days near Valletta and in Mellieha on the main island, we were delighted to spend our last 3 nights on Gozo in beautiful Xlendi. The apartment was equipped with literally everything we could want, from a fully stocked coffee/espresso bar, to beach towels and snorkeling gear, to chargers and adapters, shampoo and body wash, and more. It was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Frank provided lots of helpful information before and after we arrived, including transportation info and schedules, restaurant and coffee shop recommendations, and tourist attractions. The apartment was by far our most comfortable and well-equipped accommodation while in Malta. The location was perfect, with a very short walk to the beach plus easy bus access to Victoria/Rabat and the Cittadel. There are numerous excellent restaurants in Xlendi and the bay is beautiful! With an early May visit, the water was cold. But, we still swam and enjoyed the bay. There are many watersport options right there, including boat trips to nearby Comino. We also hiked the coastline with well-marked hiking trails and were rewarded with incredible views. Gozo is a great place to visit and Xlendi is a perfect place to stay. It’s quiet and safe with all the amenities you could want. I highly recommend Frank’s apartment. It has a balcony with view of the village (no sea view) and the building entry could benefit from better exterior lighting, but everything else exceeded expectations. 5 stars!!!

It is also very central, so everything you need is close by and very easy to get around and explore the entire island of Gozo!

If you're planning to study at the nearest English Language International School, you can get there on foot, by bus from in front of the apartment or by car hire or scooter hire.
