'The house was older but lovely and very clean with lots of personal touches and suggestions for things to do. All amenities as described as well as plenty of books and games, as well as supplies for smores which was a fun touch! Good location across from the Secret Sandwich Society and a few minute walk from other shops and restaurants in town; and just a few minute drive to trails in New River Gorge. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and accommodating! '

'This is a charming house with tons of amenities. We loved our stay. It was a great home base for our WV adventures, located near many outdoor activities but in a calm, peaceful spot. We loved the firepit, the grills, and the board games (Clue forever!). William was wonderful to work with, very responsive. All the stars!'

'We LOVED our stay at the Shady Lady on Brownstone Ridge! The cabin was so clean and adorably decorated!! Best of all, the beds were super comfy. :) It was also very well equipped with everything we needed for cooking dinner after a day on the lake. As always, we LOVE Summersville and all of the friendly locals, especially at the Tractor Bar. Such a beautiful place to visit!! We can't wait to come back and stay there again. 'We had a nice stay at this property. It fit our group of 10 (6 tweens/teens) nicely. The neighborhood was quiet and only 15-20 minutes from all of our planned activities. The AC worked well upstairs, but the kids mentioned the basement bunk room was warm. Be warned the driveway is steep and narrow, tricky especially if you have more than 2 cars with your group. '
