'The house was immaculate. Everything was provided, towels, shampoo, soap, trashbags, etc. We ate out on deck with the bablbling sound of the creek. Will definitely stay again Very charming.'

'Great place directly across the road from Creeper Trail/AT. The house had everything we needed and no problem getting checked in. Damascus is a great town with hiking and restaurants. The house was basically very clean except for some of the fine details - baseboards and things like that. We'd stay again in a heartbeat and recommend this cute house to anyone.'

However, I would recommend better housekeeping since cleanliness was good, and would also recommend changing the main room mattress, since it was not comfortable. 'Beautiful location directly on New River. Cabin was well appointed but there was a slow leak at the base of the upstairs toilet. Not sure if the seal needs replacing or the toilet just needs to be tightened up a bit. Also, the seat needs to be replaced or tightened up. I would also recommend replacing the charcoal grill. One of the wheels is broken and wants to fall off when moving the grill. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.'

'We enjoyed the quiet and remote features of this private Lansing oasis. Unfortunately while the gas fireplace wasn't working, we were able to run into town and buy wood for the wood burning stove. Definitely recommend for a winter getaway and know the gas fireplace will be repaired soon. Property manager was quick to respond and contact the appropriate maintenance staff. After working on the fireplace for a good hour, it was determined the controller needed replacing. Would certainly return for...

'Overall it was good. Initially, there was a smell when you walk in but nothing a little febreeze couldn’t handle. Had to wash our sheets because there was a bit of dog hair on them. Great place though and we enjoyed ourselves will definitely be back!'
