« We loved our little getaway to this special Cabin in Julian Ca. Everything was clean, cared for and very on point with the 50s cabin theme. John was attentive, helpful and easy to reach. He let us adjust the reservation last min and we loved reading about his personal family history and reason for buying the cabin. It was secluded, private but very close to everything in town. Just what we were looking for, we will definitely be back! »

« Great view of the Milky Way at night from the house (and the hot tub)—the stars were amazing . Dirt road for the last 1/3 mile is challenging but manageable. Felt very private. »

« As the description suggests, this is a tiny little house. Kitchen is good for pre-made food brought in to store and eat. Bed is comfy and the place had everything we needed for a couple of nights in Julian. »

« Wonderful! Our stay was an absolute pleasure. This spacious, very clean, well kept, relaxing, beautiful home has amazing views of the lake, mountains, and sunsets and also includes great amenities. « Had a wonderful stay at the Shangri-La Mountain Retreat! Not a stretch to say one of the best stocked rental homes ever I've ever booked. We stayed two nights with three families including kids ranging from 2-12 years old. Everything you could ask for was available for cooking in the kitchen with more than enough glasses and tableware in excellent condition.
