'This house was the perfect location for us…only blocks away from the church that hosted our event. We were pleased with the cleanliness, and the house was supplied with whatever we needed. One thing that disappointed was there was no coffee pot (Mr. Coffee style) as was pictured in the photo of the kitchen. I realize that “k-cups” are what’s popular, but some of us “old-timers” prefer an old-fashioned coffee pot.'

'Perfect property for a stay in Hartselle or Decatur. Home had plenty of space for our party of 5. Kitchen was fully furnished. AC was more than adequate. Plenty of towels and linens. 'This lake is one of the most beautiful lakes I have ever seen. The house is very spacious for many people to enjoy. The stairs going down to the pier were not as steep in person as I thought they would be by looking at the pics. The host was awesome to work with. 'All went really good, except two things. If you have dogs, don’t leave your dog’s unattended in the backyard, it has a fence, but house has a crawl space and my dog went and we couldn’t get them to come out for about 1/2 hour. Also the liner of the shower curtain needs to be replaced. It has a lot of mildew. The rest was perfect !'

'Magnolia Trace is a very well appointed cottage with nearly everything you need for a peaceful retreat. We especially loved kayaking, fishing from the dock, the firefly show at night, the screened in porch, and the outdoor shower. The host was very responsive to questions and requests. 5 stars! 'My son was playing in a golf tournament at The Shoals which was only 5 minutes away. This was a perfect place to stay and was right on the water. The owner was very responsive to our questions and the place was very clean. Would definitely stay here again if we go back to Muscle Shoals, AL.'

'It’s really nice play to stay with a wonderful view of the river. Went to play golf at RTJ golf course and was pleasantly surprised how close this location was .The upstairs is more suitable for kids! The only complaint I would have, no wear to hang clothes and only one mirror. 4 ladies together it was shift change for the bathroom. I would for sure stay at this location again, but would rent out both sides.'

'This is an excellent property. The only negative is the lack of transparency regarding availability of service for check-in. We had no idea that the front desk closes at 5 pm on a Saturday and we arrived around 6. Had no idea of how to check in, even with the general posted instructions. I tried calling the emergency service number, no response, I finally did figure out the fact that my key was in a safebox. 'Safe and quiet location. Very nice and clean! Comfortable living area with a nice size eat-in kitchen, laundry closet, and beautiful lake view from the spacious back deck. A few cons are the mattress in the larger bedroom is too soft and it sunk in when you lay on it. The bed frame in the smaller bedroom is fragile and felt like it was going to break so you had to lay still when you sleep in it. The larger bedroom’s temperature is warmer than the rest of the unit so we had to keep the door open...
