Rooms are a bit outdated, warm water comes slowly, but the location is well maintained. Nice clean, but small jacuzzi, excellent breakfast and service. You can get a discount on local attractions, including the cable lift. If you go to Chamonix, order train or cable lift car by internet and leave early to find a parking place and avoid...

'This property is pretty much perfect as a solo traveller, it is definitely on the lower cost of properties in the town but this does not mean it is unwelcoming, uncomfortable or cold. The room very much reminded me of my university days, small but functional. Breakfast was just right to start the day, with a typical continental fare and dont miss out on a hard boiled egg. Coffee is available all day long and the honesty bar for beer, wine and soft drinks is a life saver. I wouldn't hesitate...
