'Peaceful and calm. Would definitely stay again. Private rejuvenation retreat, Even when it rains your eyes can feast the past for hours. The exquisite sound of the screen doors as they make their way to the snap of a close. Nostalgic, the kind that opens doors and gets banana pudding made at 1030pm ending with a sit in the porch. The history alone is worth the stay. Can’t wait to see what they do next!. '

'We had a wonderful stay with four adults and two kids (ages 10 and 8). We visited for Tweetsie’s Ghost Train and loved setting the mood by reading spooky stories to the kids while relaxing in the front porch rocking chairs. The home is full of character and charm. Our kids especially enjoyed the animals and the hammock. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!'

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
