You will 💙 the quietness, serenity, and the 2 beautiful outside decks(one of which is covered). It has an awesome fire pit (free firewood)🔥 in the backyard to complete the evening under the stars. With so much to do at The Lake or to do nothing but relax, this place can accommodate you and your guests anytime of the year.
It has 2 bedrooms, 1 Bath, and a Hide a Bed, (sleeps 6). It also has a very spacious kitchen and open living room for all your entertainment needs. Our stay at Randy's rental was great! Randy checked in with us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Of all the VRBO properties we have ever stayed in, this was by far the most well stocked and decorated. We found everything from Q-tips in the bathroom to paper goods and ziploc bags in the kitchen. The place certainly felt like a home away from home. If you're visiting Rathbun it's the place to stay!

Randy was very responsive to some short time frame changes and able to accommodate our requests without hesitation. Although as the original renter I was not able to make the trip my siblings and their spouses were. They were quite impressed and humbled by the hospitality. Wow they were made to feel right at Home. Everything they needed to feel comfortable was provided. Cabin was clean and inviting, outdoor areas beautiful and Relaxing. Were attending a 50th Family Reunion and the cabin made our stay comfortable welcoming and Relaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Pancake Day 75th Anniversary in Centerville, Iowa

First time renting RRR and all I can say is Thank You for being the best hostess and opening your home to travelers to the area! There is nothing that you'll need; just your clothes! Randy has everything from q-tips to ketchup! Personal products to snacks and wine! A well mixture of different coffee pods too! There's so much more that Randy has for his renters!

We are so comfortable here, while we are staying we refer to it as going hoe when we are away. Even our dog feels at home and recognizes it when we arrive as a safe place. As usual the location was ready and inviting and we hated leaving.

We have been staying around Rathbun lake now for around 6 years. This was by far our favorite place we’ve stayed. When it says all you need to bring is food and drinks that’s exactly what it means.
