Splendid villa on 2 floors with an adjoining large terrace of about 25 square meters. with table and deckchair (as shown in the photo) with a wonderful sea view. The house is surrounded by a large and enchanting garden (see photos and read reviews) with olive, lemon and fruit trees. There is also a barbecue outside with wood available. It is ideal for those who want peace, silence, relaxation, total privacy. The distance from the beach, shops and restaurants is about 400 meters. The villa has a double bedroom and a bedroom with 2 single beds (see photo). There are 2 separate bathrooms with shower. It is provided: bed linen and towels, air conditioning in each room, washing machine, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner, gas cooker, toaster, microwave, water boiler and coffee machines.
Important!! The rental price includes the free availability of internet line + Wi-Fi. Furthermore, considering that in Monterosso there is the impossibility of parking except for a fee (about 100 Euros per week!), a free parking space are available. Important: 1) no deposit / bailment is required for any damage because you must have respect not only for people but also for things! 2) I kind ask, at the time of booking, to avoid possibly leaving fractions of 3-4 days vacant between one period and another. 3) please note that a tourist tax is only due for the first 3 days of your stay. It amounts to € 3 per person to be paid in cash upon your arrival, for wich will be issued a receipt. Guests under the age of 12 are exempt. 4) It is suggested not to drink the water at home, even if it is usable for anything else. Bottles of mineral water as well as a few bottles of wine and various drinks will be made available. This will be my welcome. Thank you so much.

Heerlijk de ruimte rondom dit huis met prachtig uitzicht. Overal horren in huis wat prettig en noodzakelijk is, want er zijn veel muggen buiten. Luigi is super attent en vriendelijk, staat continu voor je klaar. Heel fijn dat er al water voor de hele verblijfsperiode was gehaald door hem, zeker omdat grote boodschappen doen een eind rijden is over niet heel comfortabele smalle weggetjes. Dus zijn we maar veel uit eten gegaan en hebben slechts kleine boodschappen gehaald in de lokale mini winkels en de auto niet gebruikt. Ideaal rustig plekje en heel goed te wandelen naar zee en (nieuw en oud) centrum en treinstation. Het huisje is charmant, wel is het vol spulletjes (wat een ander wellicht juist kan waarderen) en er is weinig opbergruimte en de hygiëne van met name de keuken en koelkast liet te wensen over. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig in huis. Goeie plek om Cinqueterre te bezoeken, daar heb je op zich maar 1 tot 3 dagen voor nodig aangezien de dorpjes heel klein zijn (paar straten om doorheen te wandelen).

Beautiful villa and location

The house is located above the town of Monterosso al Mare and has a beautiful terrace and garden. The view over the valley and the sea is magnificent. It takes about 5-10 minutes walking downhill to the village. The beds are good and there is air conditioning and mosquito nets in the bedrooms and in the living room as well, which was very pleasant. From the villa you can easily visit the Cinque Terre. Luigi is a very pleasant host who likes to ensure that his guests have a good time in his house.

Great stay

Nice location, a few minutes walk from the beach. Beautiful garden with splendid views of the sea and surrounding hills. The airco kept the house cool and the beds were good. The kitchen is a little outdated but that didn’t bother us because Monterosso has many great restaurants! Luigi brought us fresh water and juice and a very heavy watermelon, truly a kind host! If you visit Monterosso during high season and you wish to go to the beach, please note that you have to reserve beach beds very early in the morning, because they sell out quickly.

Heerlijk vakantiehuis.

Dit vakantiehuis in Monterosso al mare was heerlijk. Wij komen al 15 jaar in Italie en hebben vele huizen gezien maar deze springt er echt uit. Dit huis heeft een prachtig uitzicht op zee, een heerlijke tuin en is ook van binnen erg sfeervol. De afstand naar het strand is zo'n 10 minuten lopen, strandclub Il Gigante is een aanrader en voor s'avonds is er in Monterosso al mare een grote keuze aan restaurants. Dit is een huis om terug te komen. Heleen en Gerard, Hilversum De eigenaar van het huis Luigi en zijn vrouw zijn heel aardig en behulpzaam, heerlijk dat zij voor lakens en handdoeken zorgen dat hebben wij nog niet eerder gezien.

Nous avons été reçu par les propriétaires, des personnes d'une extreme gentillesse et d'une grande générosité. cette adresse est vraiment incontournable pour visiter les 5 terres.C'est un havre de paix à proximité de toutes les commodités, gare commerces, restaurants et de la plage.la propriété est très belle et quel luxe de prendre tous les repas sur cette merveilleuse terrasse avec une vue imprenable sur la mer.quelle chance d'avoir pu découvrir et séjourner à cette adresse. Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die Besitzer. Liebevoll gepflegter Garten, schöner Ausblick aufs Meer. Die Villa ist voll ausgestattet. Die in einer 2025 abgegebenen eher schlechten Bewertung erwähnte angeblich nicht vorhandene Waschmaschine ist da und voll funktionsfähig. Sie ist nur hinter einer Tür „versteckt“. Sat-TV geht über den Satelliten Hotbird, d.h. es gibt keine deutschen Sender. Das WLAN hat genügend Datenrate um Filme auf dem eigenen Laptop zu streamen, allerdings ist es von kurzer Reichweite. Die Fritzbox steht im EG, im 1. Stock ist es laut unserem Nachwuchs sehr instabil. Aus eigener Erfahrung kann ich das von der Sitzecke auf der Terrasse bestätigen. Der nächstgelegene Strand ist in etwa 10min zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Auto sollte man am besten bei der Villa stehen lassen, denn Parkpätze gibt es in Monterosso praktisch nicht. Es gibt auch keinen grösseren Supermarkt in der Nähe sondern nur ein paar ganz kleine Läden für den Grundbedarf. Der nächste etwas größere Laden ist der Sigma in Levanto. Er hat 7 Tage die Woche auf. An dem fährt man auf dem Weg nach Montorosso vorbei, allerdings ist er von der Strasse aus fast nicht sichtbar da der Eingang auf der Rückseite ist. In der selben Straße ca. 300m entfernt ist auch eine ENI-Tankstelle. Die einzige Tankstelle die wir weit und breit entdeckten.

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans la maison de Luigi. La plage et le centre ne sont pas trop loin à pied. De pouvoir avoir un parking est un gros avantage. Le seul point négatif sont les moustiques mais c’est partout pareil en Italie. Mais la maison est bien équipée de moustiquaires.

A refuge of peace overlooking a tourist hotspot

What an absolute joy to stay in the home of such an amazing host. Luigi put his heart & soul into building this cozy, comfortable home with a lovely patio, garden, & views from most rooms. This is not a cold, sterile rental, this feels like being a guest in a dear friend’s home. Close to all that Monterosso has to offer, but far enough up the hill to be a place of peace, privacy & refuge. We will forever cherish our stay here and our wonderful host .

Beautiful Vill Retreat

We had such a fabulous stay this amazing villa! We enjoyed relaxing on the patio surrounded by the beautiful gardens and overlooking the sea. The villa felt like a secluded and relaxing retreat. We enjoyed walking up and down the trail along the stream to go to and from the beach. Retreating back to the villa at the end of the day was so comfortable. The inside of the house was clean, comfortable and decorated with charming personal touches. The kitchen was very well outfitted. We made coffee in the mornings and a couple of pasta meals that we enjoyed on the patio. Our host Luigi was very friendly and accomodating and made sure we new everthing we need to know about the villa. Our entire stay was absolutely lovely and we are so looking forward to returning to this lovely villa as soon as I can!

We had a wonderful stay at Luigi's! The house is even bigger and nicer than on the photos, and the garden and patio are just incredible. Beautiful and peaceful!!

The view of the ocean was stunning, the gardens were lush and peaceful and away from the crowds, but only a 8 min walk into town, we could cook and eat out easily. It also had parking!There is a winding staircase to the bedrooms but it was fine for us! Loved staying there and Luigi was a wonderful host!

Incredible Stay, Wonderful View, Lovely Listing!

Luigi has cultivated such a wonderful Villa, my wife and I had a lovely honeymoon staying there. The view every morning was Gorgeous! We really enjoyed the peace and quiet offered to us hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the town. We loved the architecture of the home equipped with AC, kitchenette, two full baths, and my wife especially enjoyed the books of several languages noted on the shelves. The art and decor made the villa feel homey. The garden was lovely and a great place to sip some wine, coffee or tea while enjoying the tranquility and beatiful view overlooking the town and the sea. Clear instructions were provided for checking in and Luigi was very responsive to all of our questions. He gave us recommendations of the local area! Luigi is a wonderful host and we could not be happier with our stay! We will be back to his villa as soon as possible!

Maison au calme proche mer

La maison est située un peu à l’écart du centre ville, au calme avec toutes les commodités. A 10 min de la plage et des commerces (pas de supermarché, le plus proche est à LEVANTO), seul bémol quasiment 80% de la plage est privatisée ! Idéale comme point de départ pour visiter les cinque terre à pied ou en train. Propriétaire très avenant.

Ferienhaus mit Charme

Wir hatten ein paar wunderschöne Tage in Monterosso. Das Ferienhaus liegt abseits des täglichen Trubels im Ort, der Ort und auch der Strand ist aber trotzdem in sehr kurzer Zeit (ca. 5-7 Minuten) zu Fuß erreichbar. Vom Ferienhaus und dem dazugehörigem Garten ( dem man zur alleinigen Nutzung hat) hat man einen supertollen Blick auf das Meer.

Our three week stay at this beautiful villa was absolutely perfect. The views were stunning from our lovely veranda where we enjoyed many peaceful hours. Luigi was the most perfect host we have ever encountered! He met us at the train to assist with luggage and even went to grocery store for us/-even taking us one time and treating us to lunch! The nicest man ever! The furnishings were nice with comfy beds, air conditioning and views from every room. The garden is full of lemon trees, olive trees, etc. The hill is a bit of a challenge when walking but taxis could easily be called. Look for short cut stairs to beach and town. Perfect stay for three women in their 60’s and one college age girl!

Perfect for vacationing with older children

Luigi is the perfect host, absolutely friendly and caring. He left us his wonderful house, which is just as beautiful as in the pictures, in Monterosso - by the way the most attractive of the Cinque Terre. We appreciated most that everything you may need is available in the house. We arrived by car and were greatful for the included parking. During our stay, we used the train or boat for travelling. Thank you to Luigi for this wonderful vacationing experience!
