  • ONAFHANKELIJK HUIS gelegen in het hart van het historische centrum, in een rustige omgeving op een steenworp afstand van het centrale plein, op 50 meter van het strand en het vertrek van de boten naar de andere dorpen en op 10 minuten lopen van het treinstation; ook grenzend aan het pand is de ingang van de beroemde BLAUWE WEG voor de 5 LANDEN.
    In de omgeving zijn er restaurants, bars, banken, kinderspeelplaats ..
    Het huis is volledig gerenoveerd door een architect, met behoud van de charme van het typisch Ligurische huis.
    Het is met veel zorg ingericht en voorzien van alle comfort.
    Op de begane grond bevindt zich de woonkamer met satelliet-tv, badkamer met douche en keuken met 4-pits fornuis, oven en koelkast.
    Een kleine trap leidt naar de bovenverdieping met TWEE grote slaapkamers, beide met dubbele ramen.
    Het huis is uitgerust met WI-FI, AIRCONDITIONING, ONAFHANKELIJKE VERWARMING, wasmachine en droogrek voor linnen.
    De eigenaren zijn altijd aanwezig op het terrein en altijd beschikbaar.

Mariagrazia is very nice and responsive. Location is great and in walking distance to a cute town full of good food and shopping. Also, very close to the beach which was as beautiful as the pictures.

We had a great stay - 2 adults and 2 kids. The apartment was clean and perfect for a family. Close to the center of Old Town. Host was responsive and very kind. Would absolutely stay again.

Loved this cute little place. Mariagrazia was a great host! We met at her little shop and she walked us over to the property and showed us how everything worked. It was a 3 min walk from the beach, restaurants, etc. Had awesome AC, but we also enjoyed having the windows open. Highly recommend!

This was such a gem to find. Perfect little space for us to stay. Easy to access for restaurants, shops and the beach. Easy to access with out luggage upon arrival from the train. Comfortable rooms and an ideal place for our visit. Highly recommend this property.

Overall very nice place and location. My only complaint is for the price they should invest in better towels, mattresses and pillows. It was a tough night sleeping in that old, very cheap, thin mattress and taking a shower and using those scratchy towels left you itchy. The rest was as expected. I think if they change those two things what they charge to stay there would make more sense.

Fantastic!

The little beach house was the perfect location for going to town, going to the beach, and getting to the train station. We were there over 2 weeks and was able to have a home base while exploring other towns and hikes.

Great Little House!

We had a wonderful stay here! The location was great since it was off the beaten path, but close to the beach, shopping & restaurants. Mariagrazia was very helpful when we got there and also helped us figure out where things were in the village.

Monterosso is the best of Cinque Terre

Affordable and your one little house, after taking the boat tour to all the other towns this is the best. The stairs are more like a ladder, would not recommend an elderly couple staying here.

Sehr schönes kleines Haus

Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und den Urlaub genossen. Das Haus liegt sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Alle Einkäufe können zu Fuß erledigt werden und die Wanderwege starten direkt hinter dem Haus.

Perfectly located in the old town of Montarosso. Spic and span, small but thoughtfully put together! Only thing I would change is to add a topper to the mattresses they are very European and a bit of an adjustment for Americans. That said the bedrooms are so lovely!

Monterosaa home base of CT visit

Our host couldn’t be sweeter. Very helpful and accommodating. The house was perfectly located in a quiet area close to the beach. It was well appointed with washer (and detergent) and ability to split beds for making 2 for our children. There was AC throughout, but loved the windows open and the fresh air at night. Thank you!

In the main square of town. Host was kind, welcoming, and helpful. Walking trails to other towns close. You can walk to the train station. In the winter a lot of the town is closed.

Avery beautiful little fisherman’s house. Right in the village. It was also right beside hiking path. Nothing short of wonderful. Mariagracia was a kind help soul. I hope to stay again. One thing, staircase is steep so able body needed.

Good location

The location was awesome. Plenty of options for food and close to train station. Parking is nearby for a daily fee. The unit was small but adequate for two adults. This would be tight space for 4 people and would not recommend it. In addition, the beds were not comfortable and had the springs coming up. A suggestion would be to place a mattress topper on top to compensate for the terrible mattresses.

Charming!

Booked 3 nights with my husband, two year old, and mother in law. Two separate bedrooms upstairs with large beds and plenty of storage for luggage. Kitchen has everything you need and a washing machine. My favorite was the sitting room with books to choose from and a very comfortable sofa. Ocean breezes waft through the windows and it truly made you feel relaxed. Steps from the beach, restaurants, and shops. The host went ABOVE & BEYOND to provide us with a crib for our little one. I highly recommend this property for your stay.

Lovely Apartment!

The location of this apartment is amazing, with everything within walking distance. Apartment was clean, terrace had a great view and made a nice place to relax in the evening with a glass of wine. Washing machine was also available for use. Our host Gaia was fantastic, very kind and helpful. We couldn’t have found a better host or location. Would highly recommend staying in this apartment for your holiday in Florence. Thanks Gaia

Excellent location just off the main piazza, quiet side street, very safe. 2 bedrooms on 2nd floor are clean minimalist design with fresh clean linens, opening windows, and ample space for luggage and the double beds. House is quaint, small, but perfect for the 2 of us ladies for a few nights; kitchen is well supplied, washer worked great! No dryer but there is an excellent outside rack and pins. Walk to restaurants and beach is 5 mins, you can hear the waves from the bedrooms. Owner is lovely, helpful, and speaks English well. We loved our stay!

Maria was a wonderful host! Always available for any questions or concerns.

The properties location is excellent. Close to the beautiful beach and delicious restaurants & shops. My only complaint is the stairs from the upstairs bedrooms to the low floor are extremely narrow, steep with no railing. Be sure to use the bathroom before going to bed. You will not want haul luggage up to the bedrooms. The washer is older and dryer is actually a rack that you can hang clothes on.

Great location!

My wife, young son and I stayed at this beautiful cute little house just steps away from the beach in Monterosso al Mare. The hostess, Ms. Mariagrazia, was exceptionally friendly, helpful and warm. She made us feel very welcome immediately. Throughout our stay, we would reach out to her and she would respond reasonably quick with helpful advice. She owns a store that is steps away from the house so speaking with her in person or via phone/text was easy. The location of this house is probably the best selling point. It is steps away from the beach and is a great access point to it. The house itself is cute. There is a small living area downstairs with a small bathroom for the entire house. The bathroom is reasonable. The shower is a little tiny but it was not that big a deal for us. There is a small kitchen with reasonable cookware. The place was quite clean and tidy. The living area and two bedrooms upstairs each have an air conditioning unit. They are functional and they work well which was needed during the time we were there (July). Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms each with 1 double bed. The living area has a good-sized TV and the Internet, via Wi-Fi, was fast and reliable for our purposes. We really enjoyed our stay here! The biggest selling points were the great location and Mariagrazia. We would easily stay here again!

Small but clean and central apartment.

Had a lovely stay. This is a central location with a 7 minute walk to the train station and 5-15 minutes to some great shops and restaurants. Clean and well kept. Host was kind and and helpful, but spoke limited English. Note, both bedrooms are up a steep set of stairs. Not recommended for someone with mobility challenges.
