But we also took long walks, following the sweet little path the owner had built from the yard through the bushes and over the creek (heard frogs) out to the beach -- a short distance, and then you can walk miles in either direction. We made elaborate dinners and found all the cooking...

'Pros: The cottage was clean and comfortable, specially the beds. It is well stocked with everything one could need for a comfortable stay. Cons: The online listing stated that it is a few steps to the beach. This is not the case. The beach is several blocks from the beach.'

'There is a lot of construction and such going on around Ocean Shores, but the inside of this condo was very nice and relaxing. The view out the window is of the trees and little views of the ocean. A little oasis! It was a nice home base to visit seabrook and many beaches. We saw some live Celtic music down the street at Galway. Quiet and comfortable.'

'This is our second time staying here. We love this place. My husband and I probably won't rent it again only because we are seniors and all the stairs were hard on us this time around. Our grandchildren loved the game room and we spent quality time together playing all the games. There was a few issues when we first arrived but Sandy was quick to remedy the situation. They are great hosts. The shower in the downstairs bathroom appears to be clogged as the water would fill up around the ankles....

'The house was comfortable and very conveniently located close to the beach. The bathrooms were clean and modern. The only complaint was the lack of a non stick tub liner.The tub was very slick and could have used a grab bar as well. The kitchen had new looking appliances; the fridge was large and the the stove had double ovens. The bedrooms were comfortable, and lacked only screens on the windows. All in all we were pleased with the rental and would return.'

'My family and I decided to do a last minute weekend trip before my kids and I headed back to AZ and things couldn’t have worked out better! The home is perfect and the even the small details like sand toys for the kids, dog towel/bed/sheet/toys and so many more was beyond appreciated! There’s a short path right next to the home to walk to the beach and the views are amazing! My family and I had a blast exploring the beach, the small cave/tunnel and water hole (not sure the correct term for it)...

'Definitely the property was under sold. The upstairs has a complete living quarters with complete kitchen to couches, TV, etc. looks to have brand new carpeting and remodel done on the entire upstairs. The downstairs has an old antique feel. However, very clean. Looks to have some upgrades in progress. We had seven adults, Three families total and was able to accommodate all of us very comfortably. Next time we visit Ocean Shores, we definitely recommend staying here. The Owens!!'

'Vacation at the Clipper Inn Hotel was awesome! Cozy room, comfortable, clean, walking distance to the beach, beautiful views of the sunset. Area is safe and parking was easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. We will be back!'
