'Saw this place on hotel.com and thought I’d give it a whirl. It sits in a beautiful small town called Belleview.IA with lots of parks and access to the river and tons of shops and diners just a short walk away. 'Dan and Annie are a great couple to work with. The property that we stayed in was the cabin. It is clean and well stocked. The property sits right on the Mississippi so one can enjoy the scenery, barges going up and down and all over river traffic. You wont be disappointed in choosing to stay here. 'Quick response to our question when we got there. Quiet and peaceful, I never heard the barges go by. Easy to find. Short drive to town for groceries and to Maquoketa Cave State Park. Daughters thought their beds upstairs were a little hard (personal preference), but the one downstairs was very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Best set of skillets I have seen in a rental.'
