'We had a great time at FINCA el Refugio de Papito. The experience will stay with our family forever. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received. Daniella was very helpful and boy can she cook an amazing breakfast! Make sure to book her breakfast at the property at least once. 'The host was super welcoming! This was our first trip out of the Country and to Coasta Rica! Derek was the top notch Host, greeting us as we arrived (His dog and cat as well!- Plus for us because we are animal people!), showing us around the property, and available if needed!
