'Beautiful hotel and grounds with wonderful views off our back deck. The 2 person jetted tube was just what was needed after a day long hiking treks. Friendly and professional staff and we enjoyed a very good dinner on site and the included breakfast had several options and you can choose all you wish to eat.'

'Fabulous hosts, bird life in grounds, delicious breakfast, perfect location. Room was clean, and just as pictures show. Would definitely stay again. Celebrating new years with owner , staff and guests a bonus.'

'Ignacio was so warm and welcoming!! He made our trip easy and relaxed. One of the best things he did was to arrange our looked forward to was a birdwatching experience. Our guide was the first female guide in Ecuador. She was excellent giving us so much time and her expertise in identifying a vast array of birds. Carmen’s cooking and homemade breads was exceptional. 'Es una reserva natural muy bien conservada con senderos que dan al Río Mindo. Realmente hermoso. El alojamiento es muy especial con cabañas de madera y Bambu muy acorde con el paisaje y al mismo tiempo de lujo y cómodas. 'The property was ultra unique. Absolutely the middle of nowhere with the most beautiful views you could imagine. Just to top it off, the service was amazing and the food was excellent!!!! The steak was incredible and only 12 dollars! Can't say enough good things about this destination. '

'Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve and Lodge is an amazing place to stay. They have extremely knowledgeable birding and wildlife guides and the people who work there are super nice. The food is great, although the options are limited. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Ours looked out into the cloud forest. Don't expect a luxury experience. This is a fairly remote location that is ideal for nature lovers and particularly birders. I would recommend getting a package if you go that...

'This is a beautiful property just outside of the main town of Mindo on a dirt road. It’s very quiet and you will hear the sound of birds and frogs. We saw quite a few different birds just sitting on the porch outside our unit. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The grounds and dining area are beautiful. The included breakfast is good and it’s nice to have the option to have dinner on property if you don’t feel like going out. Wonderful stay in Mindo. '

'Manuela is so friendly, accomodating & helpful! We enjoyed a few walks into Mindo center from the location & even from Mariposa Butterfly back. It feels safe, convenient & authentic. We enjoyed some lemongrass tea from the garden (on invitation to use the garden fruit & herbs) The Yumbosa Chocolate tour in town is a treat as well. Thank you!'
