'Stayed there a few times over the years . Good location for an over night stop etc. Clean and tidy over all. Friendly staff.
It went down a bit a few years ago but seems to have been spruced up recently. Change of ownership?

'This small hotel is located next to the River Wyre and has some lovely rooms.
I stayed 4 night with them at 75 pounds per night including breakfast.
The room was very nice, with lovely large bed, view of the river and great shower.
The room was recently re-done and has great wallpaper.
The food is very good, the breakfast has some excellent old time favourites on the menu, like soft boiled eggs with soldiers, and porridge. But it is all home cooked and tastes very fresh and lovely.

'Street parking or car park close by. Close to shops, bars and restaurants. Room very clean with all you need. Hotel not manned but contact phone available on reception desk and someone will assist with your query when contacted. Only downside was noise from nightclub and revellers at weekend as room was directly above.'
