I scheduled my stay the week before my vacation. I received a confirmation stating that I would receive check-in information 48 hours before my travel. I never did. I ended up reaching out to VRBO, and they gave me a contact number to contact the property. I contacted them and was notified that they were having trouble with their system and received my reservation but wasn’t able to communicate through VRBO. Long story short, I was then sent the check in information. The check in details were very detailed of the things I needed to do upon arrival. All of which was a bunch of runarounds. I arrived on Wednesday evening to check in, only to find out my reservation was not in the system and I had to wait until they contacted the host and have it updated. The system for the biometric handprints that were required to enter the building didn’t work for 2 days of my stay, which was a huge inconvenience because I was not allowed to utilize the elevators without this. The parking transponder that was required for my car was not installed until the 3rd day of my stay. I spent a lot of my vacation going back and forth to the lobby for assistance because everything was not in place like they said it would be upon arrival. Now to the unit. A very nice unit, but needs some upgrades. All the electrical outlets are loose and almost coming down ur the wall. The ac unit works but the vents in the rooms, air does not come out. The bed in the second bedroom was broke and very uncomfortable. All in all, I had a nice vacation, but as I’ve stated before, I have stayed in various properties through VRBO, so this particular stay kinda threw me off with all the inconsistencies and inconveniences.
