EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! House REEKED of marijuana, we could hardly breathe! The house and ductwork needs seriously cleaned after a group of guests refused to leave the property the day of our arrival. The owner warned us of their late departure stating we may not be able to check in until 8pm complaining they were horrible guests but never mentioned that they smoked the place out and we may want to find somewhere else to stay. We opened the door on arrival to be overwhelmed and nauseated by the stench and were concerned about our children’s safety breathing that in all night. After being told how terrible the previous guests were, we were uncomfortable using many of the amenities for fear of what happened there. The smoke detector in the master bedroom woke us up chirping then found that 3 of the smoke detectors in the house had been removed. On top of that, we found a 6 legged bug on us from the bed and the hot tub was low on water. We waited over an hour for it to heat up before finally giving up. This was one of the features that drew us to the house. After informing the owner of our disappointment and requesting him to make it right, he acknowledged that he knew it was bad and only made excuses complaining that they had to pay an additional person to come clean and they tried to air it out the best they could, but avoided doing the right thing by offering us compensation for the unfortunate situation we were in. THANK GOODNESS WE WERE ONLY STAYING ONE NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
