A perfect get away with so many amenities nearby. The Laurel Tree restaurant? Lost Maples State Park, and more. The scent of the breeze blowing through the beds of Rosemary surrounding the cabin are reason enough to visit all alone. '

'I booked 2 days at the Uvalde side of the duplex. It was a spontaneous trip, and I was relieved at how easy it was to book our stay. It was my first time using VRBO, so I was a little hesitant…but everything went great! The property was beautiful! We loved the cozy feel. The property was close to Garner State Park, which was a plus for us. The host was very precise/clear with the check-in and check-out procedures. Everything was detailed and upfront- I didn’t have to reach out to ask any...

'August 2025 family vacation was great the whiskey mountain Valley Cabins were amazing from check in to check out. Check-in was a breeze. The owners made it very easy and very straightforward with how to check in, they even let us know if that the cabin was ready way before our check in. The kitchen was great. They were fully equipped with utensils, pots and pans they provided a coffee maker and microwave. Everything was great. The cabin was literally like in their description just minutes away...

'We enjoyed our night in this cute Sotol Hill Lighthouse! The owners were readily available for check in, and the property is so comfy. Porch-sitting was a GREAT activity, birds and the hills and the sun all cooperated for a great experience. We will enjoy returning!'

'Cute cabin overlooking the hill country! We stayed two nights and were very comfortable. The area is quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the shower works well but the owners will tell you that hot water is limited. We had enough time to shower but you don't want to linger. The incinerator toilet is interesting but works just fine. '
