Your mountain adventures begin just steps away from the Ponderosa Stay & Play Cabin. Whether your plans include hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, swimming, fishing, or some other outdoor activity, we aim to provide a relaxing retreat between all of your adventures. This pet-friendly (up to 2 dogs) home will comfortably sleep up to 8 guests and includes all of the modern conveniences including free WiFi, washer and dryer, and a heated two car garage to store your toys.

Situated only two blocks away from Ponderosa State Park, this location gives you terrific access to the 1500+ acres of the park to hike, bike, or enjoy the lake. The house is stocked with items such as beach towels, beach toys for kids, and backpacks for day hiking right out the front door.

Enter through the front door and step into the well-appointed kitchen on your left. The abundance of counter space with updated concrete counters is sure to please the chef in the family. Added amenities include a Keurig coffee maker, waffle iron, griddle, and slow cooker.

The dining room has plenty of seating for all of the guests at the large solid wood table. The bench seat is ideal for children and the additional six chairs ensure comfort for all eight guests to enjoy family meals together.

Relax in the large living room that is bathed in natural light in the morning. There is a perfect reading area to cozy up next to the large river rock fireplace, or you can sprawl out on the couch and enjoy a Netflix movie on the 65” SmartTV with a BlueRay DVD player. Free Wifi is readily available throughout the home.

Drift off to sleep in the relaxing primary bedroom complete with king size canopy log bed with a 12” memory foam mattress. The walk-in closet has plenty of room for storage of your personal items. The en-suite bathroom is well-lit and spacious with a large walk-in shower.

Your kids will LOVE the large bunk room complete with four twin beds, all with memory foam mattresses, and matching plaid bedding. The bunk room is also packed with fun for the little ones including a 55” SmartTV with a BlueRay DVD player, bean bag chairs, plenty of blankets and pillows for snuggling, and toys for the littlest guests.

Head outside on a nice evening to enjoy the spacious deck complete with propane barbecue, perfect for grilling your day’s catch. The small outdoor screened room is great for avoiding mosquitoes while allowing you to enjoy the peaceful privacy of the back yard. Your dog and kids will love to join you in the private, fully-fenced back yard.

After a long day of exploring you can securely store all of your gear in the attached two car heated garage. Enter through the laundry room with easy access to the large capacity washer and dryer for any wet or soiled clothing. Finish your day relaxing in the open concept living room area watching a movie or playing a board game.
