'Our trip started with a pizza party with the host family. This was one of the biggest highlights of our trip! We had a great time meeting the host family and eating (and making) our own pizza. It was the best pizza too. If you choose to do the pizza making, I recommend doing it the 1st or 2nd night. 'I was so very pleased with how beautiful and well-designed the Villa was with its two lovely flower filled terraces looking out on the olive groves, the sea and the beach below. 'Scudiere Fondi was just as promised in the listing and an oasis for our family holiday with 3 generations. 'The home was as advertised, clean nicely decorated and everything we requested was provided—even a decorated Christmas tree. Our only complaint was about the showers. Water from two of the bathroom showers sprayed everywhere in the room and was impossible to shower in the bathroom downstairs. It was never corrected during our stay. 'I visited Villa Campanella with a group of friends. We had a great stay. The swimming pool was used intensively! There are good restaurants nearby you can reach on foot. Heads up, the location of the villa on google maps is not entirely correct, it is way earlier in the street. All in all, would recommend!'

'Great location if you do not mind taking bus and doing a little walking. Easy access to Sorrento. If going to Positano take the ferry from Sorrento; the bus ride is long to Positano and can easily cause motion sickness. The best part of the trip was hiking down to free beach at Fiordo di Crapolla. You must be fit to do it but the rewards at the bottom, chrystal clear water, high cliffs and lots of sea glass and very few people make it worth the trip.'

'My stay was amazing! The check in was perfect, the service was impeccable and the location was central to day trips up Almafi and quick access to Sorrento. If you are driving around town, check your route. I used GPS and it sent me down a traverse and it was narrow even for Italy and had traffic in both directions. I scratched my car. There is an alternate route into Sorrento that is equal travel time. Nothing to do with hotel but worth noting. '
