Cottages in Marysville

'I would stay again - just me. The tiny house is a stroll from the Main Street for dinner or the bakery and shops. Adequate in-house cooking facilities, full sized fridge and generous bathroom. As it is a Tiny House, sizing fit me of 160cm tall in the shower, bed and going up and down the ladder to the loft sitting area. No coat hangers to hang clothes. Lovely touch with plants to give layers of interest at each level. Great water pressure and great shower but just fit me.'

Honestly, the cabins have seen better days and were a bit rough round the edges but, it was fully equipped for a family to stay (only 2 of us) and had pretty much all we needed. Beds were comfy, everything worked and thank god there was enough heating as it was FREEZING COLD down there. It is a bit tricky to find at first off badger rd. 'We booked the cottage for our friends as a joint gift/getaway for their 40th birthdays. Management were really accommodating, letting us get there before check-in and setup nibbles, hampers and some special goodies before our friends arrived. The photos do not do the property justice, it is much bigger than it looks, backs onto paddocks and a small creek and the bathroom is very luxurious. Highly recommend'

'Wombats. That's the review. I'm not sure how to make this easier for everyone but there are wonderful wombats around the property. They come right up to the accommodation. They LOVE eating the chestnuts that fall off the surrounding trees in autumn/winter. Best times are early evening after dark until about 9pm and then sporadically until about 4am. 'Had a great time, beautiful clean and well presented cottage. On our first day there we went for a walk around the property and got to see a Lyrebird in the tree making clacking noises and raising its plumage it then flew down in front of us and then mimicked lots of different birds, it was an amazing experience which we got on video on our phone. Spent the night at the cottage and then went to the Healesville sanctuary the next day and got to see lots of Australian native animals and an amazing...
