'Helen was very welcoming and everything was spotlessly clean with thoughtful touches like water and fresh milk in the room’s fridge for making tea and coffee.'

'The accommodation was first class; very clean and a decent size with quality furnishings and excellent washroom. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection of choices. Car parking was fine and the premises are located in a convenient location for visits to the Castle, Legoland and other local tourist locations. A very enjoyable stay and I would have no hesitation returning.'

'Nice property overall, location can’t be beat, walkable to Windsor and Eton and the river. No hot water the first day, difficult to get a hold of staff as there is no overnight staffing. Emergency and contact numbers were out of date, manager didn’t pick up her mobile phone because they didn’t recognise the number calling, which we thought was odd. Water issue was remedied. No compensation offered. Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Didn’t hear any noise from street or from restaurant....

'Guest house is easily reached by car from LHR, located across from Maidenhead Rowing Club in iconic Thames valley setting. Bed and facilities were extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Hosts were delightful.'

'Very nice and cozy bedroom at the top floor of the building. everything was clean and cozy! Surrounding area does not allow you to park. Check out: no instruction on where to leave the keys... Overall, I would very recommend it!'

'It all was easy. The lovely lady explained everything when I arrived. I could also read it on paper. This lovely lady could explain everything who and where to get anywhere. That was so nice. The only thing I missed a bit was a proper switch to be able to charge my phone. Even that I was able to get at the shop so that was also totally fine and Lovely. Breakfast was taken care of. Such a and caring Lady. Wish I could've stayed longer. I had an amazing time. My kind regards to the Lovely...

'Newly renovated and very up to date. Breakfast perfect choices. Bit daunting by self check in but no issues. Only downsides were the walk from The Ridgeway down a busy road (hotel can’t help that!), and that there was no food in the evening (but crockery provided if takeaway ordered ( leaflets provided)).'

I was shown to my room and given info on the heating, breakfast times etc. Breakfast was served by a polite and pleasant lady, the breakfast itself was very nice (I opted for the traditional English). Plenty of parking available. The room itself was comfortable. Bathroom functional although if I was being overly critical I would say it could benefit from a bit of an update. 'vriendelijke ontvangst, eigenaar is zeer gastvrij en hartelijk en ze doen al het mogelijke om je thuis te voelen.Prima ontbijt. Enige opmerking, is dat men bezig is een stuk aan het B&B aan te bouwen. Uitbreiding van 3 naar 11 kamers. Daardoor is de entree nogal rommelig. Men hoopt voor de Kerst klaar te zijn met verbouwing'

'Leuke oude pub met vier moderne goede hotelkamers. Één nadeel: het bed is maar 140 cm breed en dan moet je dus niet te veel ruimte nodig hebben als (echt)paar. Hotel ligt op 10 minuten van centrum Oxford, midden in de countryside. Mooie gastheer.'
