A really fantastic house that we stayed in for a week with our 3 teenagers and one dog. The house is spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It's in a beautiful forested setting, brilliant for walks and running. It's located close to Sarlat, which is really worth a look. Fantastic market on the Saturday we arrived, with tonnes of stalls with food and crafts. We found the house overall to be very comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved the pool because it's very large and deep, perfect for diving. And there's a large dining table by the pool with a huge patio umbrella. We ate outside all the time. The owner's daughters welcomed us on arrival and were very helpful with communication and giving directions (don't follow the Vrbo directions - they are completely wrong!). The only thing that we weren't aware of is that there are 3 double bedrooms and then a fourth "office" with a single bed. This isn't actually a room as it doesn't have a door but just a curtain, so not very private. It wasn't a problem for our 19 year old who offered to take that bed, but it's not made clear on the Vrbo listing. In summary, a beautifully presented and comfortable house, with a fantastic pool and in a stunning location. Would very much recommend.
