'The floor in the room needed a a good cleaning. Grit and dirt - hated to walk on it with bare feet.'

'The room smelled horribly of urine, the door to the room would not lock or even stay shut. The area is sketchy. Did not feel safe or comfortable, moved to another hotel and did not get a refund. Terrible on all accounts.'

'We spent our 5th anniversary there. The furniture in our room had seen better days, which didn't matter to us, other than that everything else was really good. There was a bartender in the lounge on Thursday night 6/11 with a unique name which I can't remember, who was great! We got in late, and decided to have a couple drinks before bed. He made us feel welcomed, and was fun to talk to. He seemed to really enjoy his job. We will be back next time we are in the Superior/Duluth area.'

'Cute little place on Lake Superior! The place was very clean and the staff was very kind & helpful. The hotel has a popcorn bar with fixings from 4-7pm in the lobby and smores in the evening out on the patio area, both were a great “free” perk! Only things that weren’t great was that the hot tub is pretty small (capacity of 5 people) and the balconies don’t have a lot of privacy. Otherwise a very nice stay!'

'The room.was clean but nothing special. Our issues were that the area where the room was located stunk of heavy pot. Our room was on the 4th floor and the ice machine didn't work. We ended up.on the 15th floor for ice. We went back up to get more and it was unavailable. When we contacted the desk we were told to try other floor. The ac unit sounded like a plane engine. So either be too hot or listen to that noise. Pretty disappointing for what we paid. I would avoid this hotel.'

'Staff is responsive but available only via remote. Wi-Fi did not work upon arrival and stopped working again the next morning. I was in the carriage house and the adjoining room door noise was disturbing. Early checkout time is inconvenient.'
