'Very clean and great customer service '

'Rooms were very damaged. Quality of food at breakfast was pretty poor. And the overall hotel didn't feel clean'

'Staff was nice but hotel only looks nice in the lobby. At night there were men hanging out in the lobby. Not something you want to experience coming off a long drive with small children. My room stinked like smoke and smelly feet and there was hair in my shower. The television only had channel 5 and was dated. '

'Bath room wasn't as clean as it should be for 218 a nite. The baseboards need to be cleaned . The handles on the drawers in bathroom are rusted . The light fixtures are rusted . The stuff was amazing and the bed was really comfortable. They hallways and stairwell could use a good cleaning the carpets need to be cleaned too . '

'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

'The front desk staff was not very happy. We booked two rooms and had to go back twice since we were told that rooms were connected but they didn’t offer this type of room. Breakfast was the basic contentinal breakfast. It was very close to Kings Dominion which was nice. '

'The heat/cool mechanism workedand was quiet. The room was clean, had new towels, shower was spotless clean. There was a faint odor if smoke from previous time occupant. It was not a string odor. '

'Pros: 1. Excellent breakfast with variety 2. Atmosphere feels welcoming Cons: 1. Poor cleaning, sofa and desk chair with visible stains. 2. The accessibility shower room was very inconvenient. The hand held shower head was great. But the shower head from the wall is poor water pressure. 3. The fan was so loud, even by shutting it off, and it was still constantly blowing. '

'Cockroaches. Disgusting. It was our only option to stay at 1am after driving all day and we stayed to sleep for 4 hours but could barley do it as soon as we go into the hotel the front desk guy isn’t there and there’s a sign to call a number , we call it and then he comes out of a random room hair a mess like he just woke up . We get our keys quickly and head to our room, as soon as we open the door a moldy musty smell hits us in the face. We close the hotel door and there’s a massive cockroach...
