'As an area native, I was back to visit family in the area for a week with my family. This property is terrific for walking into downtown for coffee, shopping, meals and meeting up with people. We really enjoyed the proximity to everything. The space itself is terrific, with a fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining area, comfy lounge area and cozy bedrooms. Everything was clean, accessible and well thought out. All in all, a great stay we would recommend.'

'This is a wonderful property. Note: the apartment is on the 3rd Floor which is a climb but good exercise. Very well decorated and functional is the best way to describe the property. It has a fully furnished kitchen and an island with chairs for dining. The Nespresso machine was my favorite wake-up activity each morning. 'My husband and i loved the ocean front views and sounds and walk on the beach in the morning The location was great close to salem and marblehead a beautiful little town . The place was clean and we loved the eclectic antique style and furnishings that were super comfortable also love the big wood burning fireplace..our Host was top notch immediate response and care for whatever you needed made for a great experience. Also briefly met the owner such a really nice person . We will stay again '

'We loved our stay at the Duval House. The place is tastefully appointed and we especially appreciated that the mattresses are very comfy. This is usually not always the case, our 50old bodies appreciated it. The only ever-so-slight pain was that we could hear someone tromping upstairs for some of the time but that minor thing didn't hinder our stay one bit. We'd definitely stay here again when we visit Gloucester next. '
