Large Vacation Home On the Shuttle Route. Cozy Wood Burning Fireplace

Conveniently located in town, this 2 bedroom plus loft, 2 bath condo is updated with hardwood tile flooring throughout the entire living and dining area, kitchen and bathrooms. There are new flat screen TVs and DVD player in the living area. This unit also comes with complimentary high speed wireless Internet. Settle into a great movie and relax next to the wood-burning fireplace after a long day of skiing. The master bedroom features a King bed with private bathroom, the second bedroom features a Double bed with additional Twin bed and shared bathroom. Upstairs in the loft there is a Double bed, Twin bed. The Horizons 4 complex is well maintained and has all the amenities you could ever ask for including a hot tub, swimming pool, sauna, recreation room (complete with ping-pong and pool table), tennis courts, laundry facilities, and a large picnic area with gas grill. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Parking is available right at your door, as well as two free shuttle stop locations. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. This condo has stairs to the unit, two levels inside, sleeps a maximum occupancy of 8, and no smoking or pets are permitted. Our calendar is updated in real time. Ski slopes were easily accessed by shuttles. Near grocery store, bowling alley, and movie theater. Sadly most underage activities are closed on Mondays.

It was clean but smelled vintage. We enjoyed our stay. Keyless entry would have been phenomenal. Fun room/community rec room had games--you had to pay for with quarters--FYI. If you visit that place, bring quarters. Overall, it was good.

Well maintained and well equipped. You name it they have it. Very well organized keeping all needs of the vacationers on mind. Time your showers during non peak hours or hot water can run out when other units are also using like in the mornings.

Solid Rental from Mammoth Reservations

Location is only 5 minutes from Eagle, near walking distance to restaurants. The 2nd floor space plus loft was great. It's not recently renovated, but works great for a weekend with friends. Would stay again.

Pleasant but not a 5-star experience

We choose this property, which was at the higher end of available options, because it looked roomy and had good ratings. The property was fine, however, the available photos made it look much larger than it is in person. And overall, it fell well short of other 5-star VRBOs where we have stayed. The main issues were that the property is aging and needs better upkeep and remodeling. For example, the showers and tub featured worn tile and outdated fixtures. In addition, some furniture like the king-size bed in the master bedroom was old, creaky, and uncomfortable--it's definitely time to purchase a new mattress! The other negatives were we could not readily use some of the amenities such as the TV, which included four separate remotes and no instructions, or the fireplace, which said to use the firestarter disks, but none were provided. In addition, I was expecting a quiet mountain experience, but on our first night, the neighbors next door and below us were both throwing loud parties that lasted until 2:00 am. On the plus side, check-in was simple and the location is convenient, but for the amount we paid each night, I would not stay here again.

Very nice stay at the condo.

We had a great stay in Mammoth. Very good location. The layout of the unit was one of the best we've had. My only complaint/suggestion would be to provide a fan for the upstairs loft. The weather got hot (89 deg) when we were there and the loft never cooled down much even with windows open. I know not many units use AC, and it got warm in unit, but the draft from open windows helped downstairs. But not much good upstairs. Beyond that, the unit provided everything we needed and was comfortable. The rooms were big. And we all had a good time. Thanks.

DON'T RENT FROM THEM!!

Mammoth Reservations has terrible customer service! There was no hot water and the TVs didn't work, and when we complained they basically told us, "Well, that stinks for you". They also accused us of lying about the problems. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!

Good property

The only thing that made me subtract a star is that the beds should be upgraded. Especially the one in the master bedroom is old, noisy, and quite uncomfortable. A wobbling old spring mattress. The rest was perfect. Enjoyed the property. Did not have the opportunity to check out the amenities due to COVID.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It fit our group of 10 very well. The loft was a fun hang out for the kids. The only reason for for 4 stars instead of 5 was the 10am check out time. 10am is an earlier check out time than I'm used to and it was hard to get everyone packed and out the door by then.
