A QUICK WALK FROM CANYON LODGE! LOCATED @ MAMMOTH WEST

This unit offers the ultimate in Mountain Comfort. Perfect for families or groups of friends, this unit is central to all the action winter or summer. Walk to the slopes or the Village Gondola or just relax with views of the Sierras. Situated in the trees next to the Canyon Lodge parking lot, Mammoth West is one of the most convenient locations in town.

The unit has an open floor plan that lets in lots of light. Stocked with all the amenities you could ever need, this is the perfect home base for all your adventures.

There is a fully equipped kitchen, oversized balcony with beautiful Forest and Mountain Views, large dining room table, 3 TVs, ROKU/Netflix/Amazon Prime/Pandora/Spotify audio-visual system with iphone hookup, wireless internet, and a beautiful river rock hearth with wood stove (firewood provided). This two level condo sleeps 8 comfortably with 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 twins, and 4 bunks. There are 3 full bathrooms and a washer and dryer located in the unit. The built in humidifier on the forced air unit keeps the inside comfortable and warm when the air outside is cold and dry.

The condo complex features one of the largest and best Jacuzzis in Mammoth, providing the ideal place to relax after a full day of activities. There is also a pool, Red wood sauna, and male/female restrooms/showers.

For other nearby après ski and fine dining, the Austria Hof Restaurant & Bar is located next door to our Complex. At the end of your ski day, just ski to the base of Chair 7 at the Austria Hof Restaurant parking lot and you'll be just steps from our condo complex. Also, we have owner's Ski lockers at Canyon Lodge that can be provided for upon request.

Our unit has two parking passes for the parking area in front of the unit or just below the unit along Canyon Blvd. next to the Canyon Lodge Parking lot. Loading/Unloading/Pick Up/Drop off is permitted directly in front of the unit.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this cabin! The location couldn’t be better—just steps from Canyon Lodge and the lifts, which made getting on the mountain a breeze. The house itself was perfectly stocked with everything we needed for a cozy, relaxing family trip: comfy beds, a fully equipped kitchen, tons of games, and all the little touches that make you feel right at home. Check-in and check-out were super easy and totally stress-free. We’ll definitely be staying here again! Highly recommend!

We had an enjoyable week at the condo—it was quiet, clean, and made for a relaxing stay. Thank you again for sharing it with us.One observation that we noticed was that the condo felt a bit dated, although it could be refreshed with some relatively simple updates. The main issue we ran into was with the pillows, which were quite flat and made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Replacing them with more supportive options would be a small change that could have a big impact on comfort.Overall, it was a great stay, and with just a few easy improvements, the condo could feel even more inviting.

We had a great stay and were overall very happy with the rental. The kitchen was well-appointed with all the pots, pans, and equipment needed to cook comfortably. The condo was spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and hang out. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras - there were tons of books and board games that made downtime really enjoyable. This was the perfect place for 4 friends all wanting their own bedroom. It was very comfortable, spacious with the high ceilings and in a very convenient location. Definitely recommend staying here. Note: You do need to bring your own shower gel/soap for the showers.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this property. It accommodated our 8 person group well, beds comfortable. The best part of this place is the amazing view from the deck of the Sherwin mountains. Kitchen fully stocked with all cookware and dishes one would need. Cabin feel and decor. The last night of our stay, our son discovered a small baby mouse in the downstairs, and then my husband found a dead mouse under the bed in one of the bedrooms. John responded promptly to my message, and apparently this is common in the summer time, with mice looking for water.

John’s place is lovely - comfortable beds, standing fans in the closet, well-equipped kitchen, cozy dining and sitting area, and lots of place to hang/store ski gear. The location is lovely - 5 mins walk or 1 minute shuttle from canyon lodge. The hot tub area is solid. The ski lockers that John makes available at the lodge is next level. It adds SO much convenience to the trip. John’s communication was clear and helpful. An amazing stay.

Cozy Cabin!

We had an amazing time at The Cozy Cabin! John is an excellent host, always available if needed, but honestly, you won’t have to reach out because everything is so well organized. The cabin is fully equipped, with thoughtful touches like extra paper towels, toilet paper, bath towels, pillows, and blankets.The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials, including a full spice rack—something we genuinely appreciated. We had two families with four kids and two adults, and having two private bathrooms for the adults and a third for the kids made things so much easier. The space is not only comfortable but also spacious.The cabin is just a quick 10-minute walk to the Canyon, and the lockers for our gear were incredibly convenient. This was our second stay at John's, and we're already planning for next year. Highly recommend it!

Canyon Lodge Hidden Gem!

This was our 2nd time staying at John's condo and it was even better than the first visit. The place was warmed up on our arrival...and spotless. Great Family Vacation Spot!

Seven of us stayed at this great rental to enjoy snowboarding. The location was perfect with a very short walk basically just through the parking lot to get to Canyon Lodge. I could walk to the Lodge in the morning, print out the lift tickets for the day and walk back to the condo which only took 10 minutes. Some of my family hit the slopes in the morning and came back to the condo for lunch and then went back out for more snowboarding. One day after everyone got back from snowboarding early, we walked over to Canyon Lodge, took the village gondola to the village grabbed some coffee and took the gondola back to the lodge. Super easy!The condo is comfortable and can sleep many comfortably. It isn't completely updated and fancy but instead like a comfortable cabin which was exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware you need to make delicious dinners and even had a crockpot, toaster oven, and Keurig coffee maker. The owner was very informative and helpful--read the information they provide and you won't have a problem. It did snow while we were there which made it great for the slopes but some people did have issues with the slope at Canyon (we had 4 wheel drive and didn't have any problem). Overall, highly recommend and we plan to stay there again!!
