Nice october escape
Very nice hotel, it looks fairly new and is overall very clean. I had booked a room with partial sea view and they gave me a nice room at the 5th floor with sunrise view as I requested. The hotel is right at the beach which also is spotless. The hotel does not have a private beach but the beach is right in front of the hotel, so mostly you will find hotel guests there. The beds and umbrellas are private owned and do need to be rented. I just got a towel from a shop and used that. Towels are for rent as well but deposit of EUR 15,- was a bit over the top for me. Rooms are clean, and balconies are large enough to sit for two persons. Dinner might be a bit weird as they have "shifts" and you cannot change the shift plus you always have to sit at the same table every night of your stay. I can understand that it might be easier to manage but it is not very flexible. Food overall was varied and enough available, I do found a lot of dishes to be quite salty to the taste. Quality of the food was good and staff very friendly. The surrounding area has one street which has a couple of bars and restaurants, and a lot of souvenir shops and Spar supermarkets. It was end of season so not much life there going on during the day and night, but even in peak season, little variety and not much of a nightlife going on. So if you are looking for fancy bars and clubs, this is not the place to be, but for a nice and relaxing holiday definitely a nice hotel.

goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding
Hotel is minstens 30 jaar oud, goed gerenoveerd, veel mountain bikers, prettig publiek, meest (Zwitser) Duits talig, personeel spreekt redelijk goed Duits en Engels, is naast een prachtig natuurpark gelegen, in restaurant zijn er tafels met zeezicht, buffet is gevarieerd, niet zeer luxe maar wel veel verse waren van het eiland, hotel heeft grote tuin grenzend aan strand, voor hotel locale bussen die goedkoop zijn maar wel vol en niet altijd frequent, auto huren gaat goed, je zit ruim een uur van Palma en het vliegveld, zeer vriendelijk voor kleine kinderen er is een mini club, wij waren er eind april, hoe vol het in de zomer is kan ik niet overzien. In en om het hotel genoeg mogelijkheden voor zwemmen, fietsen, lopen of surfen. Maar als je naar de stad en naar de aktie wilt heb je echt een auto nodig. J.Ingenhoes Capelle ad Ijssel

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön im Hotel. Die Lage und die Hotelanlage sind super. Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist, dass es im Speisesaal durch die Klimaanlage zum Teil sehr kühl ist.

This was the worst vacation experience I’ve had in the last 20 years. Your North building (apartments) have a significant sanitation issue, and possibly a sewer management issue as well. The density of insects (ants, flies, cockroaches, beetles, etc) in the room was unacceptable. And your staff don’t seem to care AT ALL, which is perhaps the greatest source of disappointed. If you’re over capacity, and truly unable to accommodate a guest, then offer them a refund. I did find a suitable room elsewhere, and when they heard about my terrible experience at Playa Esperanza, they offered me a free upgrade. They clearly understood the importance of good service, and they have earned all of my future business. I hope for your sake that your management take some steps in the right direction for the health and safety of your guests.

Overall a hotel thats cutting corners, to make money on the smallest of things. It’s far from the exquisite relaxing hotel we stayed at pre covid. That cared for and provided good service to the guests. Pros Lovely location right on the beach. The beach stretches for miles. Plenty of sun loungers in and around the hotel pools and gardens. Hotel gardens are well maintained. Small supermarket on site that stocks most things. Cons Reception staff are not the friendliest. Everything feels to much trouble. Limited choice of food which is not always restocked. It is very much like a scrum to get food, with everyone pushing and leaning over you. Loud music constantly around the pool area during the day. Restaurant is like a food factory! Feed the guests, pack as many in as you can and let them leave as quickly as possible. Plates are removed from under you as you take the last mouthful. The four poster sun beds have now all been moved to the pool. Sunbathing here is like a hot house! There used to be some in the gardens giving the option for a sheltered location. The redesign of the restaurant removing the comfortable chairs, table cloths and fabric napkins has cheapened the dining experience. It now feels and looks like an upmarket cafe. very noisy far from a relaxing dining experience it was. We waited 10 mins for soup to be refilled. After room clean it smelt like an old damp cloth. Nothing is coMplimentary not even a glass of water.

Of course, our Playa Esperanza Resort with its 565 rooms is not a small hotel. Nevertheless, our guests enjoy a very personal service and the well-being of each individual guest is very important to us. The fact that we didn't meet your taste at the buffets really hits us. Because normally our restaurant is highly praised by our guests. In addition to theme buffets several times a week, we offer an extensive appetizer and salad buffet every day, various fish and meat specialties for the main course with a wide selection of vegetables and side dishes such as potato, rice and pasta preparations. At our show cooking stations, meat and fish specialties are fried for you à la minute and according to your wishes. It's a pity that you don't like the style of our modernized dining room. In our extensive gardens, our guests will find 3 outdoor pools where they can relax. Animation activities occasionally take place on one. Perhaps the last word has not yet been spoken for you.Kind regards

Hotel excelente para ir em família com crianças pequenas. Ótimo pequeno almoço e limpeza dos quartos impecável. 3 piscinas disponíveis e muitas espreguiçadeiras. De lamentar duas coisas:1. limpeza do ginásio às 7:00 inadequada (disseram que só iam no final das limpezas dos corredores; para quem acorda e vai treinar logo de manhã é péssimo chegar ao ginásio e estar tudo sujo e desarrumado);

Großes Familienhotel mit Abfertigungscharakter
Relativ großes Hotel eher für Familien. Essen gibt es nur im Buffet. Daher ist die Qualität oft auch eher mittelmäßig. Strandliegen sind nur auf dem Hotelgelände kostenlos. Zimmer an sich sauber. Keine Doppelbetten. Es sind aneinandergeschobene Einzelbetten, die auch schnell auseinanderrutschen. Alles in allem in Ordnung. Jedoch wird Qualität auf Grund von Quantität eher Kleingeschrieben.

In Spanienen sind alle Strände öffentlich. Die Bereitstellung von Liegen am Strand wird daher durch die Gemeinde verwaltet und kann im Falle der Balearen nicht von den Hotels durchgeführt werden. Daher haben diese Kosten. Dass wir an den Buffets nicht Ihren Geschmack getroffen haben, trifft uns wirklich. Denn normalerweise wird gerade unser Restaurant von unseren Gästen sehr gelobt. Gern können wir unseren Gäste die Betten zusammen befestigen, wenn sie dies so wünschen. . Wir würden uns freuen, wenn wir Sie wieder in unserem Haus begrüßen dürften und wir Gelegenheit bekämen, Ihren Wünschen besser zu entsprechen. Herzliche Grüsse

Location on the beach is excellent, views are beautiful and parking is free but that’s about it. Overall, it wasn’t good value for what we paid. We expected more from a four star hotel, for example a welcome bottle of water in the room instead of having to buy it at their supermarket, better food and more attentive customer service. Also we found it strange to have to pay a deposit for beach towels, it sends the message that you don’t trust your customer. We came away from this hotel feeling disappointed for how much we paid for and their approach. You can’t beat the location on Playa de Muro so if you really want to stay there be prepared for mass tourism both in the resort and on the back street. You can definitely find more charming four star resorts elsewhere and at half the price.

Muy recomendable
El hotel es de gran calidad y el estado es impecable. El servicio por parte del personal es excelente. Es muy fácil aparcar delante del hotel. La terraza para el desayuno es espectacular igual que las dos piscinas y todo el entorno del hotel. Tener la playa a un par de pasos de la habitación es perfecto.

Very nice resort, nice rooms and nice location ( we were in Suite area ) some things were not opended yet ( bars / sundbeds etc whick were sad ) and the food was only average in the buffet. Lunch restaurent was good. Strange in my opinion that you have to pay for using the hotels Tennis and Padel courts ( 15 Euro per hour )

This is a lovely hotel in a wonderful location. As British tourists, we were very much in the minority, which we liked (Wir sind Europäer). The hotel has a very nice family-friendly atmosphere and (as we stayed in early September) there were lots of pre-school children around. The hotel was clean, the staff were delightful and the food, varied and plentiful. Our only complaint would be with the two sittings arrangement at dinner. Each sitting was just 90 minutes long and so everyone arrived for dinner at the earliest opportunity, creating chaos in the areas where the buffet was being served. It wasn't the relaxing, laid-back experience that we had hoped for. Towards the end of our holiday, the hotel changed the dining arrangement and allowed people to eat when they liked. The result was so much more enjoyable as people took their time and didn't feel under pressure. Perhaps earlier on in our holiday, the hotel was just too full and too busy to cope. We would love to return to Muro one day but we will need to save our pocket-money. This was one of the most expensive hotels we have visited, but probably the best.

Hotel situado en primera línea con todos los servicios, muy cómodo y accesible. Familiar y de ocio con deportes náuticos a 100 metros, alquiler de bicis y cercano a restaurantes aunque es recomendable el del propio hotel.

Nuestra estancia en el hotel Playa Esperanza
Nuestra estancia en el hotel Playa Esperanza, Can Picafort fue muy agradable. Las instalaciones son elegantes y bonitas pero le hacen falta ya un poco de reforma en algunos lugares. Las habitaciones están muy bien avitualladas y son muy cómodas, amplias y elegantes, aunque echamos en falta algunos productos en el baño cuando llegamos, pero después se los pedí a la camarera de piso y me los dio, excepto pasta de diente que no hay en el hotel. Las camas muy amplias y cómodas, una excelencia para el descanso. Aunque el hotel estaba bastante lleno en estas fechas pudimos disfrutar muchísimo, sobre todo los niños disfrutaron de las instalaciones infantiles y de las piscinas. La comida no es exquisita pero está muy bien y es variada y abundante tanto en el desayuno como en la cena, no hay todo incluido. Incluyen alimentos para celiacos, así como productos dieteticos y existen señalizaciones con el contenido de los alimentos aunque a veces no estaban en el sitio adecuado.Lo que echamos en falta fue un poco mas de animación y de actividades en el hotel para los niños, aunque te los pueden cuidar casi todo el día a partir de 4 años. La limpieza podría mejorar un poco, aunque no está mal. Las zonas comunes y exteriores están muy bien cuidadas. En general el hotel está bastante bien y el personal es muy atento y agradable, el servicio de bar muy bueno aunque no es nada barato cabria añadir. Existen servicios de excursiones y de coches de alquiler tanto en el hotel como cerca del mismo.
