'I’m d highly recommended. I took my son for 2 nights & we had a twin room. Has so many positives for the price, it’s actually amazing value for money. My only negative is that the housekeeper mustn’t of looked inside the kettle because it wasn’t pleasant and needs replacing. But I just used the kitchen kettle for my morning coffees. '

'Location is excellent for buses, trains and shops are all very close. The owners are extremely quick to respond and will go out of their way to help. Will definitely stay again.'

'Very good value. A characterful place. Clean room with comfortable bed. Friendly owners. Close to the Barley Mow pub where we had a very tasty evening meal.'

'The area around the property is magnificent.
The property itself is very nice.
The owner was very friendly and helpful.
The only concern I have is in regard to safety in case of a fire. The amenities are upstairs and the stairs are quite narrow. An older person would have extreme difficulty getting down and the windows do not appear to be an option.
Maybe there were other options but I didn’t see any.
