'Hotel heeft update/opknapbeurt nodig. Airco openbare ruimte op diverse verdiepingen werkt niet. Daar wordt niets over vermeld bij boeken/verteld bij inchecken. En dat bij 98 F. Ontbijt ruimte is groezelig en vuilnisbakken puilen uit. Geen reclame voor Best Western. Eigenlijk laat Best maar weg.'

'Aardig hotel nabij het strand. Prima voor een kort verblijf, heel vriendelijk personeel. Verwacht niet te veel van het ontbijt, het is prima om je dag te starten.'

'I liked the location. Walmart is right across the street. It was lightly raining and I needed to go to a cemetery, do went to Walmart to buy a rain poncho and it was right there. The breakfast and coffee were excellent. I would stay there again.'

'Expedia customer service booked the wrong date for our May 29th check in check out May 30th at the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham in Sugarland. The front desk and my daughter called Expedia and the lady on the phone said you have it booked for thee'

'The staff here was absolutely the best I've encountered in years! They were kind and so helpful ! I cannot find enough nice things to day about them: from the front desk ladies and the breakfast server to the room attendants every single person was super nice. The room had some things that need attention : the door lock/ handle was concerning and didn't stay in position, the baseboards were removed and not painted over or replaced, and the microwave was in disarray when I opened it to use it....

'The room is clean and good. Staffs are helpful and approachable. The hotel is in very nice location and close to everything especially to the beach. However I was disappointed that there was no microwave in the room and would have been nice if there was a hot breakfast.'

'We arrived at the location and the guy in the front said the system what down and it wouldn’t be up for hours or until 7am. we couldn’t get a refund because no one responded to our message we sent. I had to spend more money for a different hotel.'

'Cracks and damage all over along with dirty stained sheets and greasy floors. Don’t get me started on the rude staff. Didn’t even have a hair dryer. The bathroom was decently clean at least. No bed bugs or roaches. I wouldn’t waste my money to stay here though. Terrible location hotel is facing the opposite way of the beach so even if you wanted to walk it’s confusing on which way to go.'

'We absolutely loved this hotel! Our experience was excellent from start to finish. The room was very comfortable, spacious, spotless, and included a kitchen, exactly as shown in the photos. 'Clearly a recent building or very well renovated given the paint smell when entering the room (wich was noticeable but gone very quickly when turning on the airconditioning). Very light and modern setting with friendly and helpful staff. Not directly to the beach so you’re located at a more quiet place. 'My husband and I loved our stay at the Carr Mansion! This historical home was charming, clean, and comfortable. Joellyn was a fabulous host; she served delicious breakfast and offered several tips/ recommendations for activities around the island.
