Chalets in Madeline Island

'Redelijk nieuw hotel in nette staat. Prijs - kwaliteit verhouding niet oké; veel te duur voor het gebodene. En dan ook nog $5 voor een flesje water vragen dat bij de meeste hotels gewoon complementary is... Hotel heeft houten vloeren dus elke voetstap is een etage lager te horen. Echt niet meer van deze tijd! Continental breakfast was redelijk beperkt (zeker voor deze prijsklasse) en dan ook nog flut plastic bestek en bordjes. Geen aanrader.'

'Gorgeous spaces! Check in was different with no in-person contact, but communication was good and room was easy to access. Elevator was very slow, so we took stairs to the second floor room (all rooms are on the second floor). Beautiful room and bathroom with high-end fixtures. Personal welcome note on the table was a nice touch. Record player and records available was unreal but fun! Breakfast was different from most hotels, but very enjoyable. Bed was SUPER comfortable!'

'Third party (like Expedia) still have pictures and list features of this hotel that have not been there since 2024. It advertises as a waterpark, despite not being such since 2024. I was charged/paid $280 per night for what I thought would have included a waterpark. Since there was no waterpark, this location should have cost no more than $170, especially considering it is horribly outdated (last remodel was in 2002), moldy smell in the rooms, improperly/inconsistently cleaned, filthy, poor...
