'Let's start with saying that this hotel is good value for money and the views over Lago Argentino are great. The location allows you to walk to the town center in 35 to 40 minutes, but a taxi only cost 2000 ARS. The rooms are a nice size. Ours had an extra 1 person bed, but some also have a sitting corner. Unfortunately we didn't get one of the rooms with balcony, although the strong prevailing winds probably would lessen the use. The bathroom was also a good size. Unfortunately there is no...

'Very welcome from the start we came in at the reception. Nice excursion offert. The only thing that can be better is the service at the breakfast. A lot of things weren't filled. We saw the staff with 3 persons sitting and having their own food. When asked for what we missed, the faced looked bored and only stood up like a minute later. It wassen't that late during breakfast so is wasn't the end off breakfast yet. My advise would be to look constantly what is missing at the breakfast buffet so...

'I stayed here for about a week, it was great. The staff was super friendly and helpfull. Comfortable bed and amazing views. It was quiet and relaxing and just a short walk from the main street of el Calafate. Would definitely stay here again!'

' Hotel Los Canelos in El Calafate has proven to be an excellent choice. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. 'Het hotel is erg verouderd. De badkamer is heel basic , alleen een shampoo en conditioner. Geen douchegel of zo . De bedden zijn voorzien van heel dunne dekentjes. Als het koud is zijn er gern extra dekens. De witte sprei op bed was vies. Het internet was slecht. Heel traag of zelfs geen verbinding. Het hotel drasgt 4 sterren , maar is het niet waard. Ontbijt wel goed.'

'I arrived solo at I Keu Ken Hostel on my first night in Argentina/Patagonia. Met great people there to hang out with. I was only there one night and it was definitely nice to arrive at a friendly hostel. The woman at the check-in desk (I forgot her name but she was from Costa Rica) was a gem. So nice, funny, and welcoming. She also made a dinner reservation for us at her friend's restaurant. He makes meals for local in his home! It was such a beautiful experience.'
