'We booked this property four months ago, but the managers were unaware of our arrival even after we messaged them just hours before boarding the plane. When we called them upon arrival, they asked us which travel agency we used to make the booking. It was a frustrating experience trying to secure a place to stay for the night. They referred us to the Sundowner hotel, saying they have a relationship with them and promised to call us the following day, but we never got a response. '

"Always wonderful staying at BW. Been staying at BW since the days it was known as Town Lodge. Really great to see major improvements over the years with management actually implementing suggested changes by guests. BW recently took over management of the Apartments, so I stayed there this time round. They are very private and quiet, with a nicely maintained serene garden. The place makes you forget the madness of the city. It’s outside the main building, which offers more privacy, but you will have to cross the street to access the main building for breakfast and restaurants. Security is great, even though the apartments are not part of the main building. Staff go way and above to make guests feel welcome. Pauline and her entire team at the front desk/reception are absolutely amazing! So are the staff at the restaurant. Happy to return to the hotel as always."

"Very spacious cozy room. Free shuttle service from the airport. Super friendly staff all round. Walls are thin, so one can hear noise from the hallway. Had one of an adjoining room which is usually for groups or families (I think), and could hear everything the people in the next room were saying and doing. Just ask to have a room not adjoining to another one i.e. one with connected door. They give two large complimentary water bottles, unlike other hotels that give very small bottles. Rooms have air conditioning, so a huge plus. Beds are big and very comfortable. The mattress is sturdy but not too hard. Just perfect. Stayed here for the second time and will probably go back again in future."
