The drive through Connemara to get there was unforgettable, and once we arrived we were great with a small village right on the sea. We misread the arrival instructions, so we only gave John a 30-minute warning but he was ready for us when we arrived. Parking was free and just alongside the B&B. 'Screebe House is a beautifully peaceful getaway. We had a gorgeous view of the water. At night looking across the water was very little light. It was so peaceful. The food was very good with great portion size. Breakfast was included with a small buffet plus a made to order hot option. Dinner was a 2 or 3 course choice. 'I think one of the best part of our stay was the dining staff. They were very attentive without being in your face. Very polite and good at their job. The room was fine, bed comfortable and room was clean. The area is nice as well with several shops and a nice waterfront area. It was just an overnight stay and we didn’t get to use the pool.
