The Valley of the Rocks on the South West Coast Path is a breath taking place for a coastal stroll with panoramic views, unique geological rock formations, and the wonderful wild goats. The picturesque towns of Lynton and Lynmouth (1.5 miles) offer a wide mix of cafes and restaurants to choose from, plus shops, a cliff railway and Woody Bay Station, and a fishing harbour. Inland, there are plenty of places to discover throughout Exmoor’s protected countryside. Visit the National Trust-managed Watersmeet, 1 mile, perfect for woodland walks and afternoon teas, and plan meals in the quality country pubs scattered throughout the region. Brendon Common is only a couple of miles away, with over 3,000 acres of heather-covered moorland, while the delightful seaside village of Porlock is a 9-mile trip.

Step inside this delightful stone cottage and into the welcoming kitchen/diner with modern cabinets, plenty of worktop space and a country-style dining table. It’s a lovely place to cook and share meals. Head through to the lounge, which is a lovely place for relaxing evenings, complete with a comfortable sofa and Smart TV. Upstairs, the pretty bedroom boasts a king-size bed and a lovely armchair. The window makes the very best of the far-reaching views, adding to the restful atmosphere. Adjacent to the bedroom is a spacious contemporary shower room with a WC.

Outside, an enclosed courtyard garden is a real suntrap and has lots of potted plants, seating, and a BBQ, ideal for al fresco cooking and dining. There is also a higher decked seating area, accessed from the courtyard, where you can sit and admire the stunning far reaching sea views. Private parking is provided for one car.
