Boutique Apt 1- nice location but so noisy!
Pros:
We enjoyed the location which is close enough to everything and the kitchen was very practical with appliances in working order. We had a couple of issues and the property managers were very responsive which we appreciated. It’s spacious and the pullout sofa being in a room with a door makes it really feel like a 3 bedroom if you needed it.
Cons:
The apartment wasn’t well cleaned and is clearly a rental with lots of traffic and has been neglected…the walls are littered with scuff marks and there were layers of dust everywhere. The apartment #1 is also incredibly noisy. You can hear everything within the building and outside of the building. Every car and motorcycle that drive by, every loud person on the street…The instructions posted on the exterior door about the key being around the corner to the left are incorrect. The key instructions to the front door of the apt were not clear (you had to turn it twice to the left then pull it towards you then turn another half turn). The mattress is also terrible! So thin we could feel the springs and it is misshapen with how many people have slept on it. Very uncomfortable and needs replacing.
Bottom line: if you aren’t a light or picky sleeper and just need a place with air conditioning for a couple of nights in Lugano this place might be fine for you.
