'We love the medieval tower and Lucca. The location was amazing to lots of little restaurants and a little café just right across the way. We traveled many places, Rome, Florence, Capri Cinque Terre, Pisa and Lucca was my favorite spot to call home from the hustle of big Italy. The home with so unique! 'Family and friends gathered at Al Bastini to explore the Lucca region. The Villa was wonderfully appointed and very comfortable. The pool was a big hit with the grandkids and the outdoor wood fired BBQ was used multiple times throughout the week. The owners have a great collection of books that cover Tuscany and Italian cooking. I wish I could have stayed a month so I could sit and read and gaze over the spectacular views. 'This is a truly excellent property! It is well appointed, with fully renovated bathrooms, and a beautiful and spacious chef’s kitchen. The terraces are convenient to the kitchen, beautifully decorated with flowers and herbs, and provide gorgeous views of Lucca and the nearby mountains. 'A beautiful, secluded house in the countryside, a nice landlord (who doesn't speak English - but can communicate well with Google Translate) and a nice pool, which is on the side of the house facing away from the flat. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms clean and very nice, the living room and dining area look a bit more spacious in the photos than in reality - but we had a wonderful holiday in this very nice house.'

'We absolutely loved our stay here. We were 2 couples sharing and this property more than lived up to expectations. We had so much space and everything we could have needed was provided. The hosts were so lovely, welcoming, contactable and could not do enough for us. They were genuinely lovely people who wanted you to have the most perfect stay in their property.
