the bed, tub and kitchen were very clean, but the carpet was all-over sticky, and I assume this is because people with pets have allowed the pets to use the carpet. Most of the other "guests" in the building gave the appearance it was being used as a homeless shelter or half-way house, and every time I came in, I kicked a rock away that was being used to prop open the door so anyone could come in. Never again.

Not sure how we were “checked in” because after we made the reservation and booked our room the hotel called us to say they didn’t have any rooms available and overbooked us and refused to refund our money. We weren’t even in the same state as the hotel so it was impossible for us to check in.

The room was dirty with food stuck on the wall by the sink. Shower curtain was dirty along with the bedding and pillows. Smelled like whatever was cooked in there last was stuck in the curtains and walls. The heater smelled like it was burning so we kept it off for the night. The doors to the outside were unlocked so anyone could enter the hotel. It did not feel safe. Even though it’s a non smoking facility it smelled like people smoked all over.

Very noisy slamming doors and banging on the walls from people next to me. Very dirty hall carpets and they wouldn't give me the same rate on the second night and tried charging more. Very greedy. Place is a flop house.

The staff was great. Couldn't ask for better people. However, my initial room had roaches in it. Mostly in the fridge, but some on the wall. I made the front desk aware and they got me another room immediately. The new room was fine. No issues with it.

Because it was a busy weekend in Louisville, hotel availability was limited and I may not have chosen this location otherwise. The hallways had some food waste and debris as we walked in and there were some smokey musty smells. Our room appeared fairly clean. The toilet had some stains at the bottom. The tub looked fairly clean though. But the floors, esp. around the door looked like they hadn’t be cleaned well. If someone was bringing a lot of food, it was nice because there was a full size refrigerator and it was actually very clean. The biggest challenges besides the place not smelling well was the floors/ceilings being creaky. While not the hotel’s fault necessarily, our upstairs neighbor walked around the entire night frequently and we could literally hear every step they took so we got very little sleep. I’m sure most people wouldn’t have a neighbor like that, but still there was just limited soundproofing between floors.

Outside door was broken, so made me nervous on overall safety of people being in the building that shouldn't be. My room looked like it had not been swept in awhile, dust was on surfaces and fixtures, not to mention spots on back of the door that looked like left over food? Bath tub also had spots on it which led me to believe that had not been cleaned in awhile

Checking in and out was quick. The room was clean. The room had a full size refrigerator and a microwave. We were there for two day. The local is close to restaurants and sports bars. We were going to the Louder than life festival. It is close to Louisville.

Keep your Expectations Low Here
I had booked and paid for a room with 2 Queen beds 4 months prior. When I got there I was told it was not available, and no price adjustment of course. No rooms available anywhere in town because of Festival we were attending. I was forced to accept a room with a single queen bed or walk away. I then needed to wait for a half hour for housekeeping, even though I was checking in after the 3pm check in time. I had tried checking in earlier and was told to come back at 3. I was put in a room that still had garbage, no clean linens, and fresh blood on the carpet! I had waited for this? 20 minutes later I got a different room with only 1 bed still but was at least cleaned. The lights by the bed did not work, not because of missing or burnt out bulbs, but because the wiring had been pulled out of the wall and never repaired. It was dangling from the fixture. The front of one of the drawers fell off when we went to open it. Just a bad place. Cigarette smell is pervasive throughout. That was how my stay started. I can't believe I paid over $500 for 4 nights in this dump and have no options of recourse in the matter. Extended stay means people live here who can't get regular housing elsewhere. Keep that in mind when considering your stay here.

She said she would cancel my stay in smoking and give me a non-smoking for same rate. She said I would receive an email with confirmation of cancelation. Today I looked at my banking statement and I was charged twice.

!! Don't waste your money, stay elsewhere !!
Was greeted with a dirty room & a pot smoking neighbor. I usually wipe down rooms, but this room needed a deep cleaning. Walls & floors are just gross. You definitely have to wear shoes, carpet is nasty. Definitely not an environment for kids. People hang around drinking all night. All doors to the building are not safe. Doors are broke don't let you back in with key card after they shut, so people just leave them open all day. No AC in halls or elevators (which elevator is nasty!) Went to use washer, all but one had a out of order sign on it, when using only working washer it took my money & no washing occurred. Service to download on phone handled my washer dispute very fast. I was reimbursed my money via app. Toilet was nasty, water pressure was terrible when flushing. Shower head poured out water, drain was clogged. Showered in knee deep dirty water. Staff was half nice & helpful/ half I don't care just deal with it. Only one housekeeper, that only cleaned the unoccupied rooms. No front desk at night its locked up & lights off, so hope you don't need anything or nothing breaks down like our AC unit. Thank goodness my husband partly fixed it to stay cool, yet it leaked on floor the entire stay. So another reason we had to wear shoes. There is a full size refrigerator, that was the cleanest thing in the room. Dishes & pans provided were gross & out dated I wouldn't use unless I was starving. I don't know if dishwasher worked, never used it. Definitely over priced & gross!!

This property seemed to cater to prostitutes and other undesirables. There were several room doors that remained propped open during my stay. I wouldn't recommend this property for women traveling alone or for families.

Night desk Clerk was very friendly and personable. However, another off duty employee came in with a group of friends and went behind the desk and proceeded to have a very unprofessional exchange with the Clerk. He expressed his dissatisfaction with the procedures and overall condition of the property to her, as he continued to check us in. Once we finally reached our room, we could not get in because the keys didn't work. Myself, my 5 yr old and 10 yr old nieces then lugged all of our luggage back downstairs to be given another set of keys which also did not work. The Clerk then came up and tried that set himself and was only able to open the door with the master key. He stated that he would put in a ticket and the maintenance man did come early that morning to fix it. The phone in the room did not work. The refrigerator did not work and had a very foul odor when we opened the door. There was no ice machine, as they stated that the fridges have icemakers (which, again, was not working). We stayed Friday night to Sunday morning and the room was never cleaned. When we tried to use the microwave, a foreign substance started blowing out of the top of the microwave. There was no iron or hair dryer in the room. We had to go down to the front desk to ask for them. They were both in poor condition. The iron had a black buildup so we used a towel on top so as to not damage our clothes. The other members of my group requested double beds but got single bed rooms.

We do have limited numbers of hairdryers and irons for guest use at front desk. I am sorry your stay was not as pleasant as possible. We are working to improve our service daily. I checked in, checked one of our 2 rooms and left. Your lobby drywall is peeling, your hall carpet is all stained, there were hand prints all over both sides of elevator doors, and the room was outdated and felt grimy. I would have never picked this hotel if I would have known. I went to a Holiday Inn express instead.

Dirty, smelly and over all unpleasant
We have stayed at this specific hotel several times over the past 9-10 years, but unfortunately this will be our last time staying at it. The staff was nice but that is about the only positive thing. The hotel was dirty. Very dirty. The carpets in the hallways are stained and look horrible. The elevator was dirty and reeked of marijuana. In our room, the bed was comfortable but the cleanliness and odor were horrible. The tile in the bathroom had hair that was obviously not mine or my husband’s. Corners of bathroom were extremely dirty. The toilet needed a good cleaning. The mirror looked as if the previous guest had wiped the condensation with a towel and housekeeping didn’t bother to clean the mirror. The carpet was stained. The mirror, tv, and stove top in the room looked streaked and dirty. The laminate flooring at the door had foot prints on it. The smell was that of some strong glue. All in all it was a very negative experience.
